Bienestar subjetivo durante la pandemia por COVID-19 en personal del Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2021-2022

Abstract

Antecedentes: Se realizó una vigilancia epidemiológica por la pandemia de COVID-19 que evaluó el bienestar subjetivo de todo el personal del Centro Dental Docente perteneciente a la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. Objetivo general: Determinar el bienestar subjetivo durante la pandemia por COVID-19 en personal del Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2021-2022. Materiales y métodos: Estudio transversal. La muestra se obtuvo de la base de datos del proyecto de investigación, siendo todo el personal del Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, evaluando variables como diagnóstico, tipo de diagnóstico y cuadro de COVID-19. Resultados: El bienestar subjetivo fue de 69.32 (DE=19.92) en el año 2021 y 63.16 (DE=29.87) en el año 2022, sin diferencia estadística entre años. Para el análisis multivariado. El bienestar subjetivo estuvo asociado positivamente al diagnóstico negativo de COVID-19 (coeficiente de regresión no estandarizado: 9,144, IC95%: 4.884-13.404; p<0,001). Conclusión: El BS fue de 69.32 en el año 2021 y 63.16 en el año 2022, sin diferencia estadística entre años en el personal del Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2021-2022.

Background: An epidemiological surveillance was conducted for the COVID-19 pandemic that assessed the subjective well-being of all the staff of the Centro Dental Docente belonging to the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia. General objective: To determine the subjective well-being during the COVID-19 pandemic in the staff of the Centro Dental Docente of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2021-2022. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional study. The sample was obtained from the database of the research project, being all the personnel of the Centro Dental Docente of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, evaluating variables such as diagnosis, type of diagnosis and COVID-19 picture. Results: Subjective wellbeing was 69.32 (SD=19.92) in the year 2021 and 63.16 (SD=29.87) in the year 2022, with no statistical difference between years. For multivariate analysis. Subjective well-being was positively associated with a negative diagnosis of COVID-19 (unstandardized regression coefficient: 9.144, 95% CI: 4,884-13,404; p<0.001). Conclusion: The BS was 69.32 in 2021 and 63.16 in 2022, with no statistical difference between years in the staff of the Teaching Dental Center of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, 2021-2022.
