Factores de afrontamiento de las madres ante la hospitalización de su hijo(a) en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos de Lima, 2023

Abstract

Objetivo: Determinar los factores de afrontamiento de madres ante la Hospitalización de su Hijo(a) en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos de Lima, 2023. Material y Método: Estudio de tipo cuantitativo, porque se medirá la variable numéricamente, de diseño descriptivo porque se describirá la naturaleza de la misma y de corte transversal porque la medición del estudio se realizará en un determinado tiempo. La población será de 30 madres de los infantes hospitalizados en la UCIP. Técnicas y muestra de recolección de datos: La técnica a utilizar será la encuesta y el instrumento un cuestionario denominado Escala de medición del proceso de afrontamiento y adaptación de Callista Roy; cuya consistencia interna fue establecida a través de un alfa de Cronbach mayor a 0,88. Análisis e interpretación. Los datos se registrarán y se incorporarán al programa EXCEL en una matriz prediseñada en base a los resultados de la aplicación del test de afrontamiento y adaptación (CAPS), con los cuales se podrá tabular y presentar los resultados en porcentajes para su posterior interpretación.

Material and Method: Quantitative study, because the variable will be measured numerically, of descriptive design because the nature of it and its cross-section will be described because the measurement of the study will be carried out in a certain time. Data collection techniques and sample: The technique to be used will be the survey and the instrument will be a questionnaire called the Callista Roy Coping and Adaptation Process Measurement Scale; whose internal consistency was established through a Cronbach's alpha greater than 0.88. Analysis and interpretation. The data will be recorded and incorporated into the EXCEL program in a predesigned matrix based on the results of the application of the coping and adaptation test (CAPS), with which the results can be tabulated and presented in percentages for subsequent interpretation. Population and sample. The population will be 30 mothers of infants hospitalized in the UCIP.
