Relación entre el esquema de tratamiento antituberculosis y el perfil neuropsicológico en pacientes afectados con tuberculosis en centros de salud de Lima Sur

Abstract

La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo principal el determinar la relación entre las funciones cognitivas con la cantidad y tiempo de consumo de medicación antituberculosa en los pacientes con tratamiento para tuberculosis sensible en Centros de Salud de Lima Sur, siendo un estudio cuantitativo de tipo descriptivo correlacional, que llegó a evaluar a un total de 79 sujetos con la batería de evaluación Neuropsi, la cual contaba con valores adecuados de confiabilidad y validez, llegando a la conclusión que no existe relación entre las funciones cognitivas con la cantidad y tiempo de consumo de medicación pero si existe relación entre la cantidad y tiempo de medicación antituberculosa con la dimensión orientación del funcionamiento cognitivo, del mismo modo se logró determinar que existe relación entre la cantidad de medicación con la dimensión memoria del funcionamiento cognitivo.

The main objective of this research was to determine the relationship between cognitive functions with the amount and time of consumption of anti-tuberculosis medication in patients under treatment for tuberculosis in Health Centers in South Lima, being a quantitative study of descriptive correlational type, which came to evaluate a total of 79 subjects with the Neuropsi evaluation battery, which had adequate reliability and validity values, It was concluded that there is no relationship between cognitive functions and the amount and time of medication consumption, but there is a relationship between the amount and time of tuberculosis medication and the orientation dimension of cognitive functioning, in the same way it was determined that there is a relationship between the amount of medication and the memory dimension of cognitive functioning.
