Nivel de resiliencia en pacientes oncológicos que reciben tratamiento de quimioterapia en un instituto especializado, La Libertad-2024

Abstract

La resiliencia es un tema de estudio que ha venido adquiriendo mucha importancia con el pasar de los años, por el gran impacto que genera en la parte preventiva y promocional en la salud de la persona. Para poder enfrentar las diferentes dificultades del día a día, un individuo tiene que gozar de salud, buen estado físico e inteligencia emocional. Enfocar los cuidados de enfermería desde el punto psicoemocional a pacientes que reciben quimioterapia permitirá adquirir conductas positivas para el mejor afrontamiento de la enfermedad. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de resiliencia en pacientes oncológicos que reciben tratamiento de quimioterapia en un instituto especializado con categoría III-2, La Libertad–2024. Materiales y Métodos: Correspondiente al enfoque cuantitativo, y diseño descriptivo - no experimental, la muestra estará constituida por 114 pacientes que reciben tratamiento de quimioterapia que cumplieron con los criterios de selección. Para el recojo de información se aplicará el cuestionario “Escala de Resiliencia de Wagnild y Young”, la cual está agrupada en 5 dimensiones de satisfacción personal, ecuanimidad, sentirse bien solo, confianza en sí mismo y perseverancia. Plan de análisis: La información obtenida será codificada e ingresada a una base de datos de MS Excel y luego analizada con el programa Stata Versión 18.0 mediante tablas de distribución de frecuencias según las escalas del instrumento en sus dimensiones (nivel alto, medio y bajo). Y, por último, los resultados serán presentados en tablas y gráficos estadísticos.

Resilience is a subject of study that has been gaining a lot of importance over the years, due to the great impact it generates in the preventive and promotional part of a person's health. In order to face the different difficulties of everyday life, an individual has to enjoy health, good physical condition and emotional intelligence. Focusing nursing care from the psycho-emotional point of view for patients receiving chemotherapy will allow them to acquire positive behaviors to better cope with the disease. Objective: determine the level of resilience in oncological patients receiving chemotherapy treatment in a specialized institute with category III-2, La Libertad –2024. Material and method: Corresponding to the quantitative approach, and descriptive - non-experimental design, the sample will consist of 114 patients receiving chemotherapy treatment who met the selection criteria. To collect information, the “Wagnild and Young Resilience Scale” questionnaire will be applied, which is grouped into 5 dimensions of personal satisfaction, equanimity, feeling good alone, self-confidence and perseverance. Analysis plan: The information obtained will be coded and entered into an MS Excel database and then analyzed with the Stata Version 18.0 program using frequency distribution tables according to the scales of the instrument in its dimensions (high, medium and low level). And finally, the results will be presented in statistical tables and graphs.
