Nivel de satisfacción de la comunicación enfermero – familiar del paciente en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos del Hospital Nacional Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen

Abstract

La Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos es un área donde se brindan atenciones las cuales están basadas en protocolos, procesos y legalmente constituida únicamente para atender al paciente en estado crítico o de inestabilidad. Respecto a la familia, debe estar constantemente recibiendo educación relacionada a los cuidados del paciente con la finalidad que puedan participar en la recuperación del mismo durante la estadía en dicha área; todo esto se dará a través de una comunicación efectiva. En esta área el paciente no puede valerse por sí mismo, por ello sus familiares directos tienen total responsabilidad sobre él, los familiares estarán en constante comunicación con la enfermera quien se encargará de brindar información. La presente investigación tiene como objetivo determinar el nivel de satisfacción de la comunicación enfermero – familiar del paciente. Presenta un enfoque cuantitativo porque se encargará de recolectar datos, también es descriptivo y de corte transversal. A través de un instrumento tipo encuesta el cual será aplicado en una población de 54 familiares.

The Intensive Care Unit is an area where care is provided which is based on protocols, processes and legally constituted only to care for the patient in critical or unstable condition. Regarding the family, they must be constantly receiving education related to patient care in order to participate in the recovery of the patient during the stay in that area; all this will be through effective communication. In this area the patient can not fend for himself, so his immediate relatives have total responsibility for him, the relatives will be in constant communication with the nurse who will be in charge of providing information. The objective of this research is to determine the level of satisfaction of the patient's nurse-family communication. It presents a quantitative approach because it will be in charge of collecting data, it is also descriptive and cross-sectional. Through a survey-type instrument which will be applied to a population of 54 family members.
