La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre el engagement y la percepción de calidad de vida profesional en el personal de un centro de salud de Chiclayo, así también identificar los niveles generales, según dimensiones, estamentos, condición laboral y determinar la relación entre las dimensiones de ambas variables. El tipo y diseño fue no experimental correlacional; los instrumentos utilizados fueron el Cuestionario de Percepción de Calidad de Vida Profesional (CVP 35) y Escala Ultrech de Engagement en el Trabajo (UWES). Los resultados indicaron que existe relación positiva muy baja entre el engagement y la percepción de calidad de vida profesional. En engagement el 61.7 % se ubicó en el nivel promedio, en percepción de calidad de vida profesional el 90% en nivel bueno. En las dimensiones, vigor, absorción y dedicación el mayor porcentaje se ubicaron en promedio, en las dimensiones de motivación intrínseca el 58.3 % nivel excelente, apoyo directivo el 83.3 %, bueno, en demanda de trabajo el 78.3 %, regular. Según estamentos en engagement, los médicos, enfermeras, técnicas en enfermería, administrativos, se ubicaron en niveles promedios y promedio alto; en percepción de calidad de vida profesional los mayores porcentajes en el nivel bueno. Se encontraron relaciones, muy bajas, bajas y moderadas, entre las dimensiones de ambas variables.The objective of the research was to determine the relationship between engagement and the perception of quality of professional life in the personnel of a health center in Chiclayo, as well as to identify its general levels, according to dimensions, working condition levels and to determine the relationship between the dimensions of both variables The type and design was non-experimental correlational; the instruments used were the Questionnaire for the Perception of Quality of Professional Life (CVP 35) and the Ultrech Scale for Engagement in the Workplace (UWES). The results indicated that there is a positive very low relationship between Engagement and Perception of professional quality of life. In engagement 61.7% was located in the average level, in perception of quality of professional life 90% in good level. In the dimensions, vigor, absorption and dedication the highest percentage were located on average, in the dimensions of intrinsic motivation 58.3% excellent level, managerial support 83.3%, good, in demand of work 78.3%, regular. According to levels of engagement, doctors, nurses, nursing technicians, administrative staff, were located at average and high average levels; in perception quality of professional life, the highest percentages in the good level. Very low, low and moderate relationships were found between the dimensions of both variables.
