dc.description.abstract	Antecedentes: Se presentan dificultades para el acceso a los servicios de salud bucal, especialmente, los adultos mayores, debido a diversos factores; el nivel socioeconómico, región, grupo étnico, y otros. Objetivo: Determinar la asociación entre etnicidad y acceso a servicios odontológicos en adultos mayores de 65 años en el Perú en el año 2018. Materiales y métodos: Estudio de tipo transversal, retrospectivo, observacional y analítico. La muestra se obtuvo de la base de datos de la Encuesta Demográfica y de Salud Familiar (ENDES) del año 2018; con un total de 4935 registros de personas mayores de 65 años de edad. Las variables del estudio son: atención odontológica, lugar de atención, etnicidad, seguro de salud, institución a que corresponde el seguro que tiene, pensión 65, índice de riqueza, región, área de residencia, región natural, lugar de residencia, sexo y edad. Se realizó un análisis descriptivo y bivariado con la prueba de Chi cuadrado, para el análisis multivariado se aplicó una regresión logística multivariada para la obtención de los Razón de Prevalencia (RP) y Razón de Prevalencia ajustados (RPa). Se contó con un nivel de significancia de 95% y un p <0.05. Resultados: Se encontró que la etnicidad no tuvo asociación con el acceso a servicios odontológicos con referencia a los mestizos (RP: 1.03; IC 95%: 0.97- 1.10). Conclusiones: No se encontró asociación entre etnicidad y acceso a servicios odontológicos en adultos mayores de 65 años en el Perú, 2018.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Background: Difficulties are presented in accessing oral health services, especially, older adults, due to various factors; socioeconomic level, region, ethnic group, and others. Objective: To determine the association between ethnicity and access to dental services in older adults aged 65 years in Peru in 2018. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional, retrospective, observational and analytical study. The sample was obtained from the 2018 Demographic and Family Health Survey database; with a total of 4935 records of people over 65 years of age. The study variables are: dental care, place of care, ethnicity, health insurance, institution to which the insurance they have corresponds, pension 65, wealth index, region, area of residence, natural region, place of residence, sex and age. A descriptive and bivariate analysis was performed with the Chi-square test; for the multivariate analysis, a multivariate logistic regression was applied to obtain Prevalence Ratio (PR) and Adjusted Prevalence Ratio (RPa). The significance level was 95% and p<0.05. Results: We found that ethnicity was not associated with access to dental services with reference to mestizos (PR: 1.03; 95% CI: 0.97- 1.10). Conclusions: No association was found between ethnicity and access to dental services in adults over 65 years of age in Peru, 2018.	es_ES
