dc.description.abstract	El objetivo del presente estudio tiene como finalidad conocer la relación entre el síndrome de burnout y el engagement en enfermeras del servicio de hospitalización de un Hospital Militar de Lima Metropolitana. La metodología de investigación es de tipo correlacional y de diseño no experimental, en la cual se utilizó una base de datos secundaria de la Oficina de Personal del Hospital Militar. La base de datos secundaria estaba conformada por las pruebas psicométricas aplicadas: Inventario de Burnout de Maslach y la Escala de Engagement, que midieron el síndrome de burnout y engagement de los trabajadores, respectivamente. La muestra estuvo conformada por 73 pruebas psicométricas aplicadas a enfermeras del género femenino, de un promedio de 30 a 65 años, del servicio de hospitalización, de las especialidades de cirugía general, neurocirugía, pediatría, traumatología, medicina varones, medicina damas, cuidados intensivos, terapia intensiva, ginecoobstetricia, recién nacidos, centro obstétrico, unidades de quemados, salud mental, y enfermedades transmisibles. En los resultados se encontró una correlación negativa moderada entre el síndrome de burnout y engagement, con un coeficiente de correlación de -0,62. Por último, se hallaron correlaciones negativas y moderadas entre las dimensiones de agotamiento emocional, despersonalización y realización personal del síndrome del burnout y engagement.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The aim of this study is to know the relationship between burnout and engagement in nurses in the hospitalization service of a Military Hospital of Metropolitan Lima. The research methodology is of a correlational type, of non-experimental design, in which a secondary database from the Office of Personnel of the Military Hospital was used. The secondary database had the information from the application of the psychometric tests: Maslach Burnout Inventory and the Engagement Scale, which measured the burnout and engagement, respectively. The sample consisted of 73 psychometric tests applied to female nurses, with an age range of 30 to 65 years, from the hospitalization service, from the specialties of general surgery, neurosurgery, pediatrics, traumatology, male medicine, female medicine, intensive care, intensive therapy, obstetrics gynecology, newborn, burn units, mental health, and communicable diseases. The results found a negative moderate correlation between burnout and engagement, with a correlation coefficient of -0.62. Finally, negative and moderate correlations were found between the dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal accomplishment of burnout and engagement.	es_ES
