La incertidumbre relacionada a la teoría de enfermería, se define como “estado cognitivo de interpretación subjetiva de la persona con respecto a su enfermedad, tratamiento y hospitalización en el que la persona no es capaz de categorizar o estructurar los hechos relacionados a su enfermedad”, el objetivo del presente trabajo de investigación es determinar la incertidumbre del paciente frente al proceso quirúrgico, la metodología será de tipo cuantitativo por que los resultados obtenidos serán medidos con valor numérico, diseño no experimental, tipo descriptivo, transversal, población 100 pacientes de 18 a 65 años programados para cirugías electiva, el tamaño de muestra n: 79.51, la técnica empleada en el presente estudio de investigación será la encuesta, el instrumento adaptado por la autora del presente estudio consta de 20 ítems, con tres dimensiones marco de estímulos, capacidad cognitiva y proveedores de fuentes de la estructura, la escala de medición del instrumento es la escala de Liker, donde nivel de incertidumbre bajo va de 0 a 33, nivel de incertidumbre medio entre 34 y 67 puntos y nivel de incertidumbre alto entre 68 a 100 puntos, cuya validez de Aiken resulto con un coeficiente de 0.98 indicándonos un acuerdo muy fuerte entre los 3 jueces expertos, el procesamiento de datos será presentado en gráficos estadísticos con su análisis y discusión.Uncertainty related to nursing theory is defined as "cognitive state of subjective interpretation of the person regarding their illness, treatment and hospitalization in which the person is not able to categorize or structure the facts related to their illness", the objective of this research work is to determine the uncertainty of the patient in the face of the surgical process, the methodology will be quantitative because the results obtained will be measured with a numerical value, non-experimental design, descriptive, cross-sectional, population 100 patients from 18 to 65 years old scheduled for elective surgeries, the sample size n: 79.51, the technique used in this research study will be the survey, the instrument adapted by the author of this study consists of 20 items, with three dimensions framework of stimuli, capacity cognitive and source providers of the structure, the measurement scale of the instrument is the scale Liker's, where a low level of uncertainty ranges from 0 to 33, a medium level of uncertainty between 34 and 67 points, and a high level of uncertainty between 68 and 100 points, whose Aiken validity resulted in a coefficient of 0.98, indicating a very strong agreement. between the 3 expert judges, the data processing will be presented in statistical graphs with their analysis and discussion.
