Procedencia de los gatos ingresados al Perú durante el periodo 2009 - 2018 y su potencial riesgo de introducción de enfermedades exóticas

dc.description.abstract	El estudio tuvo como objetivo describir el potencial riesgo de ingreso de enfermedades exóticas mediante el traslado de gatos domésticos al Perú durante el periodo 2009 – 2018. Se utilizó el registro de ingresos de gatos solicitada al Servicio Nacional de Sanidad Agraria (SENASA). El ingreso de gatos al Perú ha actuado de manera creciente y la procedencia de felinos fueron principalmente de América del Sur (44.3%) y América del Norte (28.7%). La mayor cantidad de gatos procedieron de Estados Unidos (1061), España (511), Chile (489), Argentina (468), Colombia (308), Venezuela (294), Brasil (173), México (140), Italia (131) y Francia (111). Los principales puntos de registro de ingreso fueron el Salón Internacional – Aeropuerto (49,7%) y la Oficina Puesto de control Aéreo Provincia Constitucional del Callao (45.2%). Durante el periodo de estudio diciembre (13,2%), enero (8,6%), julio (8.5%) y agosto (9,7%) fueron los meses de mayor ingreso de gatos hacia Perú. La revisión bibliográfica encuentra que las enfermedades exóticas de amenaza al Perú debido a la procedencia de los gatos serian Fiebre manchada, Leishmaniosis, Esporotricosis y Pasteurella multocida. El estudio brinda información que permite alertar del posible ingreso de enfermedades transfronterizas exóticas a través de la movilización de gato desde diferentes países del mundo hacia el Perú.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The objective of the study was to describe the potential risk of entry of exotic diseases through the transfer of domestic cats to Peru during the period 2009 - 2018. The cat entry registry requested from the National Agricultural Health Service (SENASA) was used. The entry of cats to Perú has increased and the origin of felines was mainly from South America (44.3%) and North America (28.7%). The largest number of cats came from the United States (1,061), Spain (511), Chile (489), Argentina (468), Colombia (308), Venezuela (294), Brazil (173), Mexico (140), Italy (131) and France (111). The main entrance registration points were the International Hall – Airport (49.7%) and the Air Control Post of the Constitutional Province of Callao (45.2%). During the study period, December (13.2%), January (8.6%), July (8.5%) and August (9.7%) were the months with the highest number of cats entering Peru. The bibliographic review finds that the exotic diseases that threaten Peru due to the origin of the cats would be Spotted Fever, Leishmaniosis, Sporotrichosis and Pasteurella multocida. The study provides information that allows warning of the possible entry of exotic transboundary diseases through the movement of cats from different countries of the world to Peru.	es_ES
