dc.description.abstract	Objetivo: Determinar los factores asociados a prediabetes y diabetes en contactos de pacientes con tuberculosis sensible. Material y métodos: Se realizó un estudio cuantitativo, descriptivo de corte transversal en 3 centros de salud del distrito de San Juan de Lurigancho. Participaron 135 contactos domiciliarios de pacientes con tuberculosis sensible seleccionados mediante el muestreo no aleatorio por saturación a quienes se les realizó glicemia capilar en ayunas y aplicación del test de Findrisk. Es un instrumento para detectar el riesgo de desarrollar DM y fue validado en el 2018 en un estudio realizado en un hospital Nacional por el Dr. Barzola. La información se registró en una base de datos en el programa STATA ver.15 y se analizó mediante modelo de regresión de Poisson con varianza robusta para determinar los factores asociados a pre-DM y DM en contactos domiciliarios. Resultados: En total 135 contactos domiciliarios completaron la evaluación: 18.5% presentó pre-DM. Luego de ajustar las variables edad e IMC; se identificó que se asociaron a pre-DM; edad de 45 a 54 años con RP 5.40 (IC. 95% 1.45-20.14) y IMC 25-29.9 kg/m2 RP 3.07(IC. 95% 1.25-7.53), ≥ 30 kg/m2 RP 5.70 (IC. 95% 2.16-15.0). Según el Findrisk, el 68% de los contactos domiciliarios de pacientes con TB sensible tienen riesgo alto de desarrollar diabetes en los próximos 10 años. La prevalencia de sobrepeso fue de 45.2%, obesidad 10.4% e hipertensión 8.1% en contactos domiciliarios. Conclusiones: Los contactos domiciliarios tuvieron como factores asociados la edad e IMC.	es_ES
