| es_ES |

Materials and methods: Retrospective observational descriptive study. The medical records of obstetric patients with a diagnosis of preeclampsia and/or eclampsia were reviewed from 2019 to 2021. Results: Retrospective observational descriptive study. The medical records of obstetric patients with a diagnosis of preeclampsia and/or eclampsia were reviewed between 2019 and 2021. Likewise, of these, it was found that the mean maternal age was 30.46 ± 6.69 years; the mean gestational age was 33.69 ± 4.87 weeks; 88.9% completed their pregnancy by cesarean section and 83.3% had no previous history of hypertensive disorder. Of these patients, 13 required admissions to the intensive care unit with an average stay of 5.23 ± 5.93 days; Furthermore, the highest percentage of ICU admission diagnoses was for acute respiratory failure. No maternal death was recorded. Conclusions: The frequency of Near Miss found in the population with preeclampsia and/or eclampsia was 7.2%. | es_ES |
