dc.description.abstract	La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la relación entre la Inteligencia emocional y el ciberacoso en estudiantes de una universidad privada de Lima Metropolitana. La muestra estuvo conformada por 118 universitarios de primer año de estudios, cuyas edades se encontraban entre los 18 a 23 años. El estudio corresponde a un diseño metodológico de tipo descriptivo-correlacional, se empleó para la recolección de datos dos instrumentos: el Trait Meta-Mood Scale-24 (TMMS-24) para evaluar la inteligencia emocional, y el European Cyberbullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (ECIPQ) para el ciberacoso. Los resultados evidenciaron una correlación negativa y estadísticamente significativa entre la inteligencia emocional y el ciberacoso (rho = -0.201), lo que sugiere que un mayor desarrollo de la inteligencia emocional se asocia con una menor implicancia en situaciones de ciberacoso. Al analizar las dimensiones de la Inteligencia emocional (Atención, Claridad y Reparación emocional) con las dimensiones del ciberacoso (ciberagresión y cibervictimización), se hallaron correlaciones negativas y significativas. Los hallazgos de este estudio contribuyen a un mayor sustento teórico sobre la relación entre ambas variables en el contexto universitario. Además, ofrecen información para el desarrollo de estrategias de prevención e intervenciones psicoeducativas dirigidas a estudiantes y docentes, con el objetivo de mitigar el impacto del ciberacoso.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The main objective of the present research was to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and cyberbullying in students at a private university in Metropolitan Lima. The sample consisted of 118 first-year university students, aged between 18 and 23 years. The research employed a descriptive-correlational methodological design. For data collection, two instruments were used: the Trait Meta-Mood Scale-24 (TMMS-24) to evaluate emotional intelligence, and the European Cyberbullying Intervention Project Questionnaire (ECIPQ) to evaluate cyberbullying. The results revealed a negative and statistically significant correlation between emotional intelligence and cyberbullying (rho = -0.201), suggesting that higher levels of emotional intelligence are associated with lower involvement in cyberbullying situations. By analyzing the dimensions of emotional intelligence (Attention, Clarity, and Emotional Repair) in relation to the dimensions of cyberbullying (cyber-aggression and cyber-victimization), negative andsignificant correlations were also found. The findings of this study provide greater theoretical support regarding the relationship between these two variables within the university context. Furthermore, they offer valuable insights for the development of prevention strategies and psychoeducational interventions aimed atstudents and faculty, with the goal of mitigating the impact of cyberbullying.	es_ES
