Introducción: Desde 2014, la migración venezolana hacia Perú ha crecido exponencialmente como respuesta a una crisis humanitaria sin precedentes. A finales de 2023, Perú albergaba a más de un millón de migrantes venezolanos, convirtiéndose en el segundo principal país receptor. Objetivo: Determinar el tiempo de la última atención odontológica en migrantes venezolanos atendidos en un centro dental docente de Lima Metropolitana. Materiales y métodos: Estudio transversal, cuya población serán todos los pacientes migrantes venezolanos mayores de 18 años atendidos en el Centro Dental Docente de la Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia, Lima, Perú, en el año 2026. Las variables del estudio serán la última visita al dentista, condición migratoria, lugar de la última visita odontológica, tenencia de seguro de salud, tipo de seguro de salud, ocupación, nivel educativo, estado civil, sexo y edad. Conclusiones: Este estudio es relevante para generar evidencia local que permita comprender y reducir las brechas de acceso a la atención odontológica en migrantes venezolanos en Lima Metropolitana.Introduction: Since 2014, Venezuelan migration to Peru has grown exponentially in response to an unprecedented humanitarian crisis. By the end of 2023, Peru hosted more than one million Venezuelan migrants, becoming the second main receiving country. Objective: To determine the time since the last dental visit among Venezuelan migrants treated at a teaching dental center in Metropolitan Lima. Materials and methods: Cross-sectional study. The study population will include all Venezuelan migrant patients aged 18 years or older who receive care at the Teaching Dental Center of Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia (Lima, Peru) in 2026. Study variables will include: time since last dental visit, migration status, place of the last dental visit, health insurance coverage, type of health insurance, occupation, educational level, marital status, sex, and age. Conclusions: This study is relevant because it will generate local evidence to understand and reduce gaps in access to dental care among Venezuelan migrants in Metropolitan Lima.
