dc.description.abstract	Introducción: El bienestar subjetivo es un componente importante de la salud mental y del desarrollo integral del estudiante universitario. En carreras del área de la salud, como Odontología, las exigencias académicas y clínicas pueden influir en el estado emocional de los estudiantes, por lo que resulta relevante conocer el nivel de bienestar subjetivo en esta población. Objetivo: Describir el nivel de bienestar subjetivo en estudiantes de pregrado de la carrera de Odontología de una universidad peruana durante el año 2026. Materiales y métodos: Estudio transversal, no experimental y descriptivo. La población estará conformada por estudiantes de pregrado de la carrera de Odontología. Para la recolección de datos se utilizará el Índice de Bienestar General WHO-5 (WHO-5 WBI), instrumento validado en población universitaria peruana. Se realizará un análisis estadístico descriptivo para caracterizar el bienestar subjetivo según año de estudio, sexo y edad. Conclusión: El estudio permitirá aportar información relevante sobre el bienestar subjetivo en estudiantes de Odontología, constituyéndose en una base para el diseño de estrategias institucionales orientadas a la promoción del bienestar y la salud mental en el ámbito universitario.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Introduction: Subjective well-being is an important component of mental health and the integral development of university students. In health-related careers such as Dentistry, academic and clinical demands may influence students’ emotional well-being; therefore, it is relevant to assess the level of subjective well-being in this population. Objective: To describe the level of subjective well-being among undergraduate Dentistry students at a Peruvian university during the year 2026. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional, non-experimental, descriptive study was conducted. The population consisted of undergraduate students enrolled in the Dentistry program. Data were collected using the World Health Organization-Five Well-Being Index (WHO-5 WBI), an instrument previously validated in Peruvian university students. Descriptive statistical analyses were performed to characterize subjective well-being according to year of study, sex, and age. Conclusion: This study will provide relevant information on subjective well-being among Dentistry students and may serve as a basis for the development of institutional strategies aimed at promoting well-being and mental health in the university setting.	es_ES
