Numerous randomized clinical trials have evaluated the efficacy of preoperative or postoperative administration of anti-inflammatory drugs alone or in combination with analgesics to control pain, inflammation, and trismus after third molar surgery. Moreover, this surgical procedure can trigger mixed pain (overlapping symptoms of nociceptive pain and neuropathic pain), which was one of the main reasons to evaluate the efficacy of an anti inflammatory drug such as diclofenac (for nociceptive pain) associated with vitamins B1, B6, and B12 (for neuropathic pain)
