dc.description.abstract	Objetivo: identificar los diagnósticos presuntivos de los pacientes atendidos mediante teleorientación sincrónica en el servicio de Oftalmología del Hospital Cayetano Heredia (HCH) por la pandemia de COVID 19, describiendo sus características demográficas y el porcentaje de pacientes referidos para una evaluación presencial. Método y Plan de análisis: estudio descriptivo observacional retrospectivo con análisis secundario de una base de datos recolectada de mayo a agosto del 2020 de pacientes atendidos mediante teleorientación oftalmológica en el HCH. Resultados: 389 pacientes fueron admitidos para el análisis. Los principales diagnósticos presuntivos fueron Síndrome de ojo seco (n=76, 24,68%), glaucoma (n=57, 18,51%), catarata (n=55, 17,85%), post operado (n=18, 5,84%) y Conjuntivitis viral/ bacteriana (n=17, 5,52%). La mayoría perteneciente al sexo femenino (n=198, 64,29%) y procedía de Lima Metropolitana (n=283, 91,88%). La cantidad de adultos mayores fue mayor que la de adultos no mayores (n=158, 51,29% vs n=150, 48,70%). Finalmente, los pacientes citados en consultorio para una cita presencial fueron 14 (4,55%). Conclusiones: el principal diagnóstico presuntivo fue síndrome de ojo seco y la cantidad de pacientes citados en consultorio fue el 4,55%. Los adultos mayores fueron 51,29%, con aumento de la proporción de asistencia familiar en el grupo de adultos mayores vs no adultos mayores (59,5% vs 84,4%, p< 0,001).	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Objetive: To identify the presumptive diagnoses of patients treated by synchronous teleorientation in the Ophthalmology service of the Cayetano Heredia Hospital (HCH) due to the COVID 19 pandemic, their demographic characteristics and the percentage of patients who were referred for a face-to-face evaluation. Method and analysis plan: Retrospective observational descriptive study with secondary analysis of a database collected from May to August 2020 of patients treated by ophthalmological teleorientation at HCH. Results: 389 patients were admitted for the analysis. The main presumptive diagnoses were dry eye syndrome (n=76, 24,68%), glaucoma (n=57, 18,51%), cataract (n=55, 17,85%), post operated (n=18, 5,84%) and Viral conjunctivitis / bacterial (n=17, 5,52%). The majority of the population was female (n= 111, 64,91%) and came from Lima (n=283, 91,88%). The amount of older adults was lower than that of non-older adults (n=158, 51,29% vs n=150, 48,70%). Finally, the patients programed for face-to-face appointment were 9 (5,26%). Conclusions: The main presumptive diagnosis was dry eye syndrome and the number of patients cited in the office was 4,55%. Older adults were 51,29%, with an increase in the proportion of family assistance in the group of older adults vs non-older adults (59,5% vs 84,4%, p <0.001).	es_ES
