Percepciones de pacientes sobre la telepsiquiatría como alternativa de atención durante la pandemia del COVID-19

dc.description.abstract	Antecedentes: Nacionalmente, el telemonitoreo se ha incorporado como servicio de prestación de salud a partir de la pandemia del COVID-19; sin embargo, no existe documentación sobre la satisfacción y percepciones de pacientes frente a esta modalidad; por ello, es incierto el uso a futuro de esta herramienta permanentemente en nuestro país. Objetivo: Identificar las percepciones de los pacientes del servicio de psiquiatría atendidos por telemonitoreo en el HCH. Métodos: Estudio de 2 fases: (1) adaptación transcultural de un cuestionario validado por 3 expertos y traducido de inglés a español en Argentina; posteriormente adaptándolo al español de Perú. Fase (2): Aplicación del cuestionario en 183 pacientes de psiquiatría del servicio del HCH; usándose pruebas no paramétricas para determinar asociación entre variables. Resultados: Se aplicó un cuestionario de 20 preguntas en 60 varones y 123 mujeres con una mediana de edad de 45 años. Se obtuvo un alfa de Cronbach mayor a 0,7 en todas las dimensiones del cuestionario. La facilidad para usar el servicio de consultas virtuales, la comodidad con su uso y la satisfacción general tuvieron un puntaje elevado asociándose al número de dispositivos que tienen los pacientes y su grado de instrucción. La utilidad, la comunicación virtual y la solución de problemas técnicos tuvieron puntajes elevados. La voluntad para volver a tener una teleconsulta fue alta y estuvo asociada a la satisfacción de los pacientes con la consulta. Conclusiones: La mayoría de los pacientes están satisfechos con las atenciones de telepsiquiatría por telemonitoreo durante la pandemia.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Background: In Peru, telepsychiatry has been incorporated as an alternative health service since the COVID-19 pandemic. There is no documentation on the satisfaction and perceptions of patients regarding this type of care in the country, nor on the availability to continue using this care tool permanently in the future. Objective: To identify the perceptions of the patients who received alternative care by telepsychiatry at the Cayetano Heredia Hospital. Methods: Phase (1): transcultural adaptation of questionnaire with 3 experts, translated from English to Spanish in Argentina, and adapted to Peru context. Phase (2): application of the questionnairein 183 patients from psychiatry in HCH. Non-parametric tests were used to determine the association between variables. Results: We applied 20 questions to 60 men, 123 women, with a median age of 45. The ease of using the virtual consultation service, the comfort with its use and the general satisfaction had a score of 6 out of 7 and are associated with the number of devices that patients have and their degree of education. The usefulness, communication by virtual means and the solution of technical problems had scores higher than 6, being considered acceptable by the patients. Willingness to have a teleconsultation again was high and was associated with patient satisfaction with the consultation. Conclusions: Most patients were satisfied with telepsychiatry via telemonitoring during the COVID-19 pandemic.	es_ES
