Competencias del profesional de enfermería en situaciones de desastre

Abstract

En los últimos años sismos de gran magnitud azotan regiones de todo el mundo, siendo el Perú, uno de los países con mayor vulnerabilidad por su localización geográfica, es por ello que los servicios que brindan asistencia hospitalaria deben estar bien equipados, y con su personal debidamente capacitado para una respuesta adecuada ante un evento de desastre. Los objetivos de la presente monografía son: identificar las competencias del profesional de Enfermería especialistas en Emergencias y Desastres, desde la práctica y analizar la importancia del profesional de Enfermería dentro del equipo multidisciplinario en situaciones de desastre. La metodología es la de realizar un análisis sistemático de artículos y literatura científica, enfocándose en sintetizar los resultados obtenidos de múltiples fuentes para poder responder a una situación problema en el ámbito profesional mediante el diseño de investigación documental y retrospectiva. El propósito de la investigación es que una vez realizada dicha revisión bibliográfica y después de haber alcanzado los objetivos planteados la presente monografía logrará que el Profesional de Enfermería especialista en Emergencias y Desastres, se motive a trabajar en pro de mejorar y afianzar dichas competencias para lograr el fundamento teórico y práctico que lo convierte en parte fundamental del equipo multidisciplinario que brinda respuesta a las diversas situaciones de desastre.

The purpose of the research is that once said bibliographic review has been carried out and after having achieved the objectives set out in this monograph, the Professional Nursing specialist in Emergencies and Disasters will be motivated to work towards improving and strengthening said competencies to achieve the theoretical and practical foundation that makes it a fundamental part of the multidisciplinary team that responds to various disaster situations.
