Factores socioculturales y percepción del cuidado humanizado de enfermería de las madres de pacientes hospitalizados en UCIP, 2023

Abstract

Las madres de los pacientes ingresados a la “Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos” necesitan que sus pacientes no solo reciban atención médica especializada y asistencia tecnológica, sino que se contemple al paciente y la madre bajo un enfoque holístico, tal como lo expresa el cuidado humanizado de enfermería. Sin embargo, existente algunos factores socioculturales de las madres que pueden influir en su capacidad de percepción del cuidado humanizado brindado por el profesional de enfermería. Objetivo: Determinar la relación de los factores socioculturales y la percepción del cuidado humanizado de las madres de los pacientes ingresados en la “Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos.” Metodología: El proyecto de investigación cuenta con un enfoque cuantitativo, un diseño descriptivo correlacional y de corte transversal. La muestra será no probabilística y estará conformada por 76 madres de pacientes pediátricos hospitalizados en la “Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Pediátricos.” La recolección de datos se realizara con dos cuestionarios, el primero corresponde a los factores socioculturales de las madres y el cual fue elaborado por la autora; y el segundo es “Percepción de comportamientos de cuidado humanizado de enfermería (PCHE)” ,el cual fue modificado para su aplicación en las madres de los pacientes, posteriormente se analizará los resultados serán tabulados en el programa SPSS 22, finalmente para determinar el grado de asociación de los factores socioculturales y las dimensiones de la percepción del cuidado humanizado se aplicara el coeficiente de correlación rho de Spearman.

Mothers of patients hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit need their patients not only to receive specialized medical care and technological assistance, but also to see the patient and the mother from a holistic approach, as expressed by humanized nursing care. However, there are some sociocultural factors of the mothers that can influence their ability to perceive the humanized care provided by the nursing professional. Methodology: The research project has a quantitative approach, correlational descriptive design and cross section. The sample will be non-probabilistic and will be made up of 76 mothers of pediatric patients hospitalized in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The data collection will be carried out through two questionnaires, the first corresponds to the sociocultural factors of the mothers and which was prepared by the author; and the second is the instrument "Perception of humanized nursing care behaviors (PCHE) 3rd version" adapted by González-Hernández, which was modified for its application in the mothers of the patients, later the results will be analyzed and tabulated in the SPSS 22 program, finally to determine the degree of association between sociocultural factors and the dimensions of the perception of humanized care, Spearman's rho correlation coefficient was used.
