The objective of this study is to determine the relationship between the quality of nursing care and patient satisfaction in the emergency department of the José Casimiro Ulloa Hospital in Lima 2025. This is a basic research study with a quantitative approach, a non-experimental design, a descriptive scope, and a cross-sectional design, using a census sample of 100 patients. To collect data, the method will be a survey, and the instrument will be a questionnaire. The CARE-Q will be used to measure the first variable, and the EPNSS scale will be used for the second variable. To establish the correlation coefficient used for hypothesis testing, a normality test will be conducted to determine the data distribution of both variables. If this distribution is not normal in strictly statistical terms, the analysis test will be nonparametric (e.g., Pearson’s r). Conversely, if that is not the case, then the test will be parametric (e.g., Spearman’s rho, Kendall’s tau_b, among others).
