dc.description.abstract	Las complicaciones de la enfermedad renal crónica y la hemodiálisis degeneran el estado de salud del paciente a nivel físico, psicológico y emocional, haciéndolo vulnerable a la necesidad de cuidado de otra persona, por lo que, desde el momento en que el paciente y su familia reciben el diagnóstico y la noticia del tratamiento, generan un impacto negativo cambiante donde él y la familia se encuentran vulnerables a eventos estresantes originados por la demanda del cuidado, proceso que los llevará a la necesidad de adoptar estrategias de afrontamiento para hacer frente a la nueva situación que se les presenta. Objetivo: analizar las revisiones bibliográficas sobre las estrategias de afrontamiento utilizados por pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica como de su familia. Metodología: revisión bibliográfica retrospectiva, mediante la búsqueda bibliográfica de literatura científica desde 2009 al 2019 en las siguientes bases de datos Scielo, Pubmed, Google Scholar, Medline, Redalyc, Lilacs, Elsevier, Ciberindex, Medline, Cochrane, BVS y Cuiden, seleccionando los artículos que mejor respondían a los objetivos planteados. Conclusiones: Los resultados muestran que las estrategias de afrontamiento utilizadas por la familia y por el paciente con enfermedad renal crónica en tratamiento de hemodiálisis, predominantemente estuvieron centradas al problema, siendo el apoyo social y la resolución de problemas caracterizadas como las de mayor uso favoreciendo la adherencia al tratamiento del paciente y a un mejor bienestar para ambos.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The complications of chronic kidney disease and hemodialysis degenerate the patient's health status at a physical, psychological and emotional level, making him vulnerable to the need for care from another person, therefore, from the moment the patient and his family receives the diagnosis and the news of the treatment, they generate a changing negative impact where he and the family are vulnerable to stressful events caused by the demand for care, a process that will lead them to the need to adopt coping strategies to cope with the new situation that is presented to them. Objective: to analyze the bibliographic reviews on the coping strategies used by patients with chronic kidney disease and their families. Methodology: retrospective bibliographic review, by means of the bibliographic search of scientific literature from 2009 to 2019 in the following databases Scielo, Pubmed, Google Scholar, Medline, Redalyc, Lilacs, Elsevier, Ciberindex, Medline, Cochrane, BVS and Cuiden, selecting the articles that best responded to the stated objectives. Conclusions: The results show that the coping strategies used by the family and by the patient with chronic kidney disease undergoing hemodialysis, were predominantly focused on the problem, with social support and problem solving characterized as the most widely used, favoring the adherence to patient treatment and better well-being for both.	es_ES
