El presente trabajo monográfico tiene como Objetivo: Analizar la intervención de enfermería (NIC) en el paciente adulto con Cetoacidosis Diabética (CAD) en el servicio de emergencia. Material y Métodos: Corresponde a una investigación de tipo documental, que se interpreta como una revisión bibliográfica de información descriptiva de tipo retrospectiva. Se basa en realizar una revisión detallada y en el análisis de varias literaturas, artículos y tesis de diversas fuentes con hasta 7 años de antigüedad. Se consultó: Dialnet, EBSCOhost, Google académico, Redalyc y otros. Resultados: De los trabajos analizados: 40 (100%) 23% extraídos del buscador Dialnet, 43% de Google académico, 23% de Dialnet, 13% de Redalyc y 23% del buscador Scielo; mientras que 20% del total corresponden a investigaciones nacionales y 80% a investigaciones internacionales. Del total de artículos 10% se refieren a diabetes mellitus, 15% a diabetes mellitus y cetoacidosis, 23% a cetoacidosis diabética, 18% intervención de enfermería, 28% intervención de enfermería y cetoacidosis diabética y 8% al proceso de atención de enfermería. Conclusiones: La Cetoacidosis Diabética es una complicación aguda y grave de la Diabetes Mellitus, se desarrolla cuando su cuerpo no tiene suficiente insulina para permitir que el azúcar en la sangre ingrese a sus células para usarla como energía, sin una atención adecuada y oportuna como el profesional de enfermería puede incluso causar la muerte en pacientes adultos. la profesión de enfermería está ubicada al frente de las acciones en la prestación de servicio que demanda una intervención inmediata y eficaz para atender a estos pacientes. |

Conclusions: Diabetic Ketoacidosis is an acute and serious complication of Diabetes Mellitus, it develops when your body does not have enough insulin to allow blood sugar to enter your cells to use it for energy, without proper and timely care like the professional of Nursing can even cause death in adult patients. The nursing profession is at the forefront of actions in service provision, performing functions of great importance, providing care focused on people and communities. The work of health personnel demands immediate and effective intervention to care for these patients. |
