La visita pre quirúrgica representa la humanización del cuidado enfermero orientada a determinar manifestaciones tanto físicas como psicológicas y realizar actividades con el propósito de reducir la ansiedad pre quirúrgica y así disminuir complicaciones dentro del proceso postoperatorio. Objetivo: Describir las tendencias de la investigación sobre efectividad de la visita pre quirúrgica en la disminución de la ansiedad de pacientes sometidos a intervenciones quirúrgicas. Material y métodos: Estudio revisión bibliográfica retrospectivo de 118 artículos científicos de los cuales se seleccionaron 20 que tenían mayor relevancia con el tema, de las siguientes bases de datos, tales como Scielo, Dialnet, Clinicalkey, Bvsalud, Google Académico y Pubmed, publicados entre los años 2017 al 2022, en los idiomas de español, inglés y portugués. Resultados: Del 100% de artículos revisados el 50% fueron publicados en Europa, el 60% fueron realizados en español, el 30% fueron del año 2020, el 75% lograron disminuir la ansiedad preoperatoria, temor, miedo e incluso disminución de dolor en el post operatorio y un 25% demuestra que ayuda en la mejora de la relación terapéutica enfermera-paciente. Conclusiones: La visita pre quirúrgica oportuna y adecuada contribuye a disminuir la ansiedad del paciente pre operatorio, el cual debe realizarse basado en una adecuada relación enfermera-paciente, comunicación asertiva y educación e información precisa. |

The humanization of nursing care is represented by the pre-surgical visit which is aimed to determine both physical and psychological manifestations and performing activities in order to reduce pre-surgical anxiety and consequently its reduce complications within the postoperative process. Objective: To describe research trends on the effectiveness of the pre-surgical visit in reducing the anxiety of patients undergoing surgical interventions. Material and methods: Retrospective bibliographic review study of 118 scientific articles 20 of them were selected by their great relevance on the topic, from the following databases, such as Scielo, Dialnet, Clinicalkey, Bvsalud, Google Scholar and Pubmed, published between 2017 and 2022, in the languages of Spanish, English and Portuguese. Results: After reviewing 100% of articles, 50% were published in Europe, 60% were written in Spanish, 30% were written in 2020, 75% managed to reduce preoperative anxiety, fear and even pain was decreased in the postoperative period and 25% shows us that it helps in improving the nurse-patient therapeutic relationship. Conclusions: The timely and adequate pre-surgical visit contributes to reduce the anxiety of the pre-operative patient, which must be performed based on an adequate nurse-patient relationship, assertive communication and education and accurate information. |
