Una de las principales preocupaciones de todo docente es de qué forma nuestros alumnos aprenden para poder ayudarlos en el desarrollo del curso y esto se vea reflejado en rendimiento que los alumnos muestran al término del periodo. Esta investigación de tipo descriptivo correlacional, desea encontrar la relación que existe entre las estrategias de aprendizaje y su relación con el rendimiento académico de los aprendices del III ciclo de la carrera de Diseño Industrial en un instituto superior tecnológico. Para el desarrollo de esta investigación se tomó el instrumento ACRA abreviado que es muy usado para poder medir las estrategias de aprendizaje y sus dimensiones en cuanto a la segunda variable que es rendimiento académico, se consideró el formato de la misma institución que tiene 4 niveles de forma cualitativa y cuantitativa en el cual el alumno se puede ubicar, de acuerdo con su promedio adquirido en todo el semestre de todos los cursos.One of the main teacher’s concern is how our students learn, in order to assist them in the course’s development, which is reflected in the students’ performance show at the end of the period. This descriptive correlational research, has the purpose to find the relationship between learning strategies and their relationship with academic performance of Industrial Design III cycle learners at superior technological institute. For the development of this research, the ACRA instrument abbreviated is used to measure learning strategies and dimensions as the second variable, academic performance. The format we took into consideration was the same institution method, which has four levels considering qualitative and quantitative manner in which the student can be located, according to the average got in all semester for each one of subjects.
