dc.description.abstract	Antecedentes: La identificación de los factores asociados a infecciones de prótesis articulares, permitirá concientizar sobre la problemática a la vez informar sobre los riesgos y complicaciones, de esta manera podemos educar al personal de salud y a los pacientes, ya que las intervenciones de prótesis articulares o artroplastias a nivel mundial son requeridas por trastornos musculoesqueléticos, identificándose diferentes complicaciones, las más importante es la infección. Por lo tanto, el personal de enfermería juega un papel importante en sala de operaciones, donde debe asegurar que los instrumentos utilizados estén en óptimas condiciones, verificar su esterilidad reduciendo así la tasa de infecciones. Objetivo: Describir los factores asociados a la incidencia de infecciones de prótesis articulares en cirugías traumatológicas. Métodos y Materiales: Estudio descriptivo, se encontraron artículos de investigación desde el 2017 al 2022, para la búsqueda se utilizaron diversas bases de datos, como es Google Académico, ScienceDirect, Scielo, PubMed, ClinicalKey. Los operadores booleanos fueron: “AND, OR, NOT. Resultados: Los pacientes presentaron una comorbilidad alta 60,4 %, debido a la edad, enfermedades reumatológicas, la estancia hospitalaria encontrando el pico más alto de sujetos hospitalizados durante 7 días, los materiales protésicos en un 10 %, los cuales son factores de riesgo para el desarrollo de la infección. Conclusión: Se encontraron factores intrínsecos como la obesidad, edad, diabetes mellitus, desnutrición y la artritis reumatoide; además, factores extrínsecos como el tiempo quirúrgico, el material protésico, la estancia hospitalaria.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Background: The identification of the factors associated with infections of joint prostheses, will allow to raise awareness about the problem while informing about the risks and complications, in this way we can educate health personnel and patients, since joint prosthesis interventions or Worldwide arthroplasties are required for musculoskeletal disorders, identifying different complications, the most important being infection. Therefore, the nursing staff plays an important role in the operating room, where they must ensure that the instruments used are in optimal conditions, verify their sterility, thus reducing the rate of infections. Objective: To describe the factors associated with the incidence of joint prosthesis infections in trauma surgeries. Methods and Materials: Descriptive study, research articles were found from 2017 to 2022, various databases were used for the search, such as Google Scholar, ScienceDirect, Scielo, PubMed, ClinicalKey. The Boolean operators were: “AND, OR, NOT. Results: The patients presented a high comorbidity 60.4%, due to age, rheumatic diseases, hospital stay finding the highest peak of hospitalized subjects for 7 days, prosthetic materials in 10%, which are risk factors. for the development of the infection. Conclusion: Intrinsic factors such as obesity, age, diabetes mellitus, malnutrition and rheumatoid arthritis were found; in addition, extrinsic factors such as surgical time, prosthetic material, and hospital stay.	es_ES
