dc.description.abstract	Antecedentes: La relación entre la salud oral y sistémica es ampliamente respaldada por evidencia científica, la enfermedad renal, puede tener manifestaciones en la boca, lo que puede impactar negativamente en la salud oral. Por lo que la autopercepción del impacto de la calidad de vida y la salud oral es un aspecto importante que puede ser medido para evaluar adecuadamente el bienestar de los pacientes. Objetivo: Determinar la calidad de vida relacionada con la salud bucal en pacientes hemodializados en el Centro de Hemodiálisis “NEFROVIDAD” del distrito de Los Olivos de Lima 2021. Materiales y métodos: El estudio fue de tipo descriptivo transversal con una población de 78 pacientes con enfermedad renal crónica se utilizó el perfil de impacto en salud oral en su versión simplificada OHIP-14 como instrumento para medir la calidad de vida relacionada a la salud oral, para el análisis descriptivo se usaron tablas de frecuencia, promedio aritmético y mediana y para el análisis inferencial se utilizó la Prueba chi cuadrado. Resultados: El OHIP-14 identificó que de los 78 pacientes concurrentes al Centro de Hemodiálisis NEFROVIDAD, el 46.15% presentaron una mala calidad de vida, 28.21% una regular calidad de vida y 25.64% una excelente calidad de vida. Conclusiones: Existió un impacto negativo en las 7 dimensiones evaluadas por el perfil de impacto de salud oral OHIP-14, así mismo, no hubo asociación significativa entre las variables edad, sexo y calidad de vida.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Background: The relationship between oral and systemic health is widely supported by scientific evidence, kidney disease can have manifestations in the mouth, which can negatively impact oral health. Therefore, the self-perception of the impact of quality of life and oral health is an important aspect that can be measured to adequately assess the well-being of patients. Objective: To determine the quality of life related to oral health in hemodialysis patients at the "NEFROVIDAD" Hemodialysis Center in the district of Los Olivos, Lima 2021. Materials and methods: The study was cross-sectional descriptive with a population of 78 patients. with chronic kidney disease, the oral health impact profile in its simplified version OHIP-14 was used as an instrument to measure the quality of life related to oral health, for the descriptive analysis frequency tables, arithmetic mean and median were used and for the inferential analysis, the chi-square test was used. Results: The OHIP-14 identified that of the 78 patients attending the NEFROVIDAD Hemodialysis Center, 46.15% had a poor quality of life, 28.21% a regular quality of life, and 25.64% an excellent quality of life. Conclusions: There was a negative impact in the 7 dimensions evaluated by the OHIP-14 oral health impact profile, likewise there was no significant association between the variables age, sex, and quality of life.	es_ES
