Introducción: Hasta la actualidad no se tiene consenso sobre el protocolo de cementación para las coronas sobre implantes por lo que es necesario seguir investigando los diferentes materiales de fabricación de coronas y cementos, y su resistencia en ambientes que simulan las fuerzas masticatorias. Desarrollo temático: Se elaboró un silabo, la revisión de un artículo de investigación y el proyecto de investigación. Conclusiones: El módulo de docencia universitaria sienta bases científicas para la elaboración estructurada del silabus del curso de coronas sobre implantes. El análisis crítico de literatura usando el CASP, ayuda a reconocer si un artículo de investigación se encuentra bien elaborado o presenta deficiencias. El proyecto de investigación desarrollado tiene como objetivo conseguir un cemento temporal que sea resistente a las fuerzas de la masticación y además pueda permanecer periodos de tiempo prolongados en boca tras el cual pueda ser retirado para un mantenimiento.Introduction: Until now there is no consensus on the cementation protocol for crowns on implants, so it is necessary to continue investigating the different materials for manufacturing crowns and cements, and their resistance in environments that simulate masticatory forces. Thematic development: A syllabus, the review of a research article and the research project were prepared. Conclusions: The university teaching module establishes scientific bases for the structured elaboration of the syllabus of the crowns on implants course. In the critical analysis of literature, it helps to recognize if a research article is well prepared or has deficiencies, using the CASP. The research project developed aims to find a temporary cement that is resistant to the forces of chewing and can also remain in the mouth for long periods of time after which it can be removed for maintenance.
