La pandemia por COVID-19 involucró que el proceso de enseñanza sea bajo modalidad virtual, por lo cual surgieron cuestionamientos si los adolescentes trasladarían comportamientos, conductas y habilidades que presentaban antes de pandemia por COVID-19 a las nuevas circunstancias, puesto que estaban inmersos a nuevos límites, experiencias, formas de vincularse con sus pares y expuestos a presentar conductas que afecten su salud y bienestar como el consumo de alcohol. Objetivo: Determinar el nivel de habilidades sociales y consumo de alcohol en los adolescentes durante la pandemia por COVID-19 en una Institución Educativa Pública de Lima, 2022. Material y método: Enfoque cuantitativo, diseño descriptivo transversal. Población constituida por 129 adolescentes de 4to y 5to de secundaria. Instrumentos aplicados virtualmente por Google Forms, la Lista de Evaluación de habilidades sociales con 42 preguntas elaborado por el INSM “HD-HN” y el AUDIT con 10 preguntas diseñado por la OMS. Datos registrados en Microsoft Office Excel 2021 y análisis estadístico realizado en STATA Versión 17. Resultados: En los adolescentes predomina el nivel promedio de habilidades sociales con un 39,5%, resaltando la asertividad y autoestima con un nivel promedio alto con 53,5% y 40,3% respectivamente, respecto al consumo de alcohol un 65,1% sí consume, presentando mayormente un consumo de bajo riesgo con un 73,8%. Conclusiones: Los adolescentes presentan un nivel promedio de habilidades sociales, con mayor énfasis en las habilidades de asertividad y autoestima; además presentan consumo de alcohol en su mayoría de bajo riesgo.The COVID-19 pandemic involved that the teaching process was under virtual modality, which raised questions about whether adolescents would transfer behaviors, behaviors, and skills that they presented before the COVID-19 pandemic to the new circumstances, since they were immersed in new limits, experiences, ways of bonding with their peers and exposed to behaviors that affect their health and well-being, such as alcohol consumption. Material and method: Quantitative approach, cross-sectional descriptive design. The population consisted of 129 adolescents in the 4th and 5th years of secondary school. Instruments applied virtually by Google Forms, the Social Skills Assessment Checklist with 42 questions prepared by the INSM "HD-HN" and the AUDIT with 10 questions designed by the WHO. Data recorded in Microsoft Office Excel 2021 and statistical analysis performed in STATA Version 17. Results: In adolescents, the average level of social skills predominates with 39.5%, highlighting assertiveness and self-esteem with a high average level with 53.5% and 40.3% respectively, with respect to alcohol consumption, 65.1% do consume, presenting mostly a low-risk consumption with 73.8%. Conclusions: Adolescents have an average level of social skills, with greater emphasis on assertiveness and self-esteem skills; In addition, they have mostly low-risk alcohol consumption.
