El presente proyecto de investigación tiene como objetivo principal determinar el nivel de satisfacción del paciente sobre el cuidado enfermero en el servicio de cirugía de un hospital nacional de Lima. Puesto que, el paciente demanda una mayor calidad del cuidado que logre la satisfacción de sus necesidades, lo cual contribuye a una percepción positiva de la atención recibida porque percibe disponibilidad del enfermero mediante una adecuada relación interpersonal. Por lo tanto, la valoración de la satisfacción del paciente aporta información para mejorar la calidad de la atención en beneficio del paciente. La población del proyecto de estudio estará conformada por 272 pacientes adultos hospitalizados en el servicio de cirugía. Tipo de muestreo no probabilístico conformado por 160 pacientes. Además, se utilizará el Cuestionario Caring Assessment Instrument (CARE–Q) modificado y validado por las investigadoras peruanas Cubas J., Guerra M. y Parco R. mediante juicio de expertos y con un alfa de Crombach de 0.868. El instrumento presenta 4 dimensiones, 23 preguntas en total y la calificación mediante una escala de Likert de 4 puntos clasificada en bajo, medio y alto según el puntaje total obtenido. La recolección de datos será de manera presencial durante cuatro meses y la selección de participantes será de manera aleatoria. Por último, los datos recolectados serán ingresados a una base de datos en el programa Microsoft Excel 2017 para su análisis estadístico con el software STATA y la fórmula de Staninos para la obtención de intervalos de la variable de estudio y sus dimensiones.The main objective of this research project is to determine the level of patient satisfaction regarding nursing care in the surgery service of a national hospital in Lima. Since, the patient demands a higher quality of care that achieves the satisfaction of her needs, which contributes to a positive perception of the care received because she perceives the availability of the nurse through an adequate interpersonal relationship. Therefore, the assessment of patient satisfaction provides information to improve the quality of care for the benefit of the patient. The population of the study project will consist of 272 adult patients hospitalized in the surgery service. Non-probabilistic sampling type made up of 160 patients. In addition, the Caring Assessment Instrument Questionnaire (CARE-Q) modified and validated by the Peruvian researchers Cubas J., Guerra M. and Parco R. will be used through expert judgment and with a Crombach's alpha of 0.868. The instrument has 4 dimensions, 23 questions in total and is rated using a 4-point Likert scale classified as low, medium and high according to the total score obtained. Data collection will be in person for four months and the selection of participants will be random. Finally, the collected data will be entered into a database in the Microsoft Excel 2017 program for statistical analysis with the STATA software and the Staninos formula to obtain intervals of the study variable and its dimensions.
