dc.description.abstract	Introducción: La salud mental se define como el estado de equilibrio entre una persona y su entorno social y cultural, cuando se ve alterada puede presentar diversas enfermedades. En el campo sanitario, la prevalencia de enfermedades psiquiátricas en los profesionales de salud del servicio de urgencias hospitalarias es del 36,8%. Debido a la pandemia por COVID-19, los problemas de salud mental han aumentado de manera considerable, por ello, la revisión de la literatura resulta importante, debido al impacto que tiene esta enfermedad, la cual es considerada como uno de los problemas de salud pública con mayor impacto a nivel mundial en los últimos años. Objetivo: Reportar las evidencias científicas sobre la salud mental en el profesional de enfermería del servicio de emergencias antes y durante la pandemia por COVID-19. Metodología: El presente trabajo de investigación es una revisión bibliográfica, descriptivo, transversal y retrospectiva. Se obtuvo información desde el año 2017 al 2022 en las bases de datos: Scielo, Pubmed y Latindex. Además, se realizó una revisión de la literatura gris en GOOGLE SCHOLAR. Se encontraron un total 92 artículos. Se excluyeron 65 artículos debido a que no cumplieron de con los criterios de inclusión. Conclusiones: En la pandemia por COVID-19, los profesionales de enfermería presentaron un aumento en el estrés y la ansiedad. Además, la depresión estuvo presente antes y durante la pandemia por COVID-19.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Introduction: Mental health is defined as the state of balance between a person and their social and cultural environment; when it is altered, it can present various diseases. In the health field, the prevalence of psychiatric diseases in health professionals in the hospital emergency service is 36.8%. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, mental health problems have increased considerably, therefore, the review of the literature is important, due to the impact that this disease has, which is considered one of the health problems public with the greatest impact worldwide in recent years. Objective: Report scientific evidence on mental health in emergency service nursing professionals before and during the COVID-19 pandemic. Methodology: This research work is a bibliographic, descriptive, transversal and retrospective review. Information was obtained from 2017 to 2022 in the databases: Scielo, Pubmed and Latindex. Additionally, a gray literature review was conducted on GOOGLE SCHOLAR. A total of 92 articles were found. 65 articles were excluded because they did not meet the inclusion criteria. Conclusions: During the COVID-19 pandemic, nursing professionals presented an increase in stress and anxiety. In addition, depression was present before and during the COVID-19 pandemic.	es_ES
