En la investigación: “Análisis del Capital Social de los Productores de Cacao Asociados del Centro Poblado Menor Nuevo Bambamarca en la Provincia de Tocache, Departamento de San Martín, 2017”, el objetivo general fue analizar el capital social de los productores de cacao asociados. El tipo de investigación fue descriptiva, con diseño de investigación mixto; cualitativo y cuantitativo, con sujetos de estudio: 25 productores asociados, 4 directivos y 12 técnicos en asociatividad. Los instrumentos aplicados fueron una encuesta, entrevista y focus group. La encuesta fue validada por expertos y se obtuvo 0.92 de confiabilidad en la prueba KR20. El resultado principal señala que el capital social se sustenta en la participación individual y colectiva, los activos y la asociatividad; asimismo los factores que propician el capital social son: compromiso del socio, identificación organizativa, prestación de servicios, las normas de la organización y el relacionamiento con otras organizaciones. Se concluye que el capital social se sustenta en la capacidad de la unión grupal para que todos tengan un objetivo común y claro, caracterizado por la participación y la confianza, debido a que esto redundará en la articulación comercial y generación de servicios que favorezca a cada uno de los productores asociados.In the research: "Analysis of the Social Capital of Associated Cocoa Producers of the Nuevo Bambamarca Menor Town Center in the Province of Tocache, Department of San Martín, 2017", the general objective was to analyze the social capital of associated cocoa producers. The type of research was descriptive, with a mixed research design; qualitative and quantitative, with study subjects: 25 associate producers, 4 managers and 12 associativity technicians. The instruments applied were a survey, interview and focus group. The survey was validated by experts and a reliability of 0.92 was obtained in the KR20 test. The main result indicates that social capital is based on individual and collective participation, assets and associativity; Likewise, the factors that promote social capital are: commitment of the partner, organizational identification, provision of services, the norms of the organization and the relationship with other organizations. It is concluded that social capital is based on the capacity of the group union so that everyone has a common and clear objective, characterized by participation and trust, because this will result in the commercial articulation and generation of services that favor each one of the associated producers.
