dc.description.abstract	Objetivo: Evaluar tomográficamente la relación entre las dimensiones de la Válvula Nasal Interna y la Profundidad del Paladar en pacientes con diferentes patrones faciales verticales. Metodología: En este estudio retrospectivo, la muestra fueron 45 registros tomográficos de pacientes con diferentes patrones faciales verticales (15normodivergentes, 15 hipo divergentes y 15 hiper divergentes). Se evaluaron las dimensiones de la Válvula Nasal Interna (ángulo y área) y la Profundidad del Paladar mediante la tomografía computarizada de haz cónico, utilizando el software Real Scan 2.0. Para determinar la clasificación de los patrones se utilizaron el ángulo SN-GoMe y la relación de la altura facial posterior y la altura facial anterior. Resultados: Se encontraron diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre los patrones faciales verticales para la Profundidad del Paladar y la Válvula Nasal Interna. (p<0.001) El patrón hipodivergente obtuvo los valores más bajos de la profundidad del paladar (7.8mm) y el hiper divergente los más altos (19.8mm).Respecto al área de la válvula nasal, el grupo normodivergente presento los mayores valores (derecho 88.27mm2e izquierdo 84.67mm2). Los valores más bajos para el ángulo de la válvula los presento en grupo hiperdivergente (derecho 11.11° e izquierdo 11.81°).Conclusiones: Hubo diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre los patrones faciales verticales respecto a la Profundidad del Paladar y la Válvula Nasal Interna. No hubo correlación entre las variables de estudio.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Objective: To evaluate tomographically the relationship between the dimensions of the Internal Nasal Valve and Palate Depth in patients with different vertical facial patterns.Methodology: In this retrospective study, the sample was 45 tomographic records of patients with different vertical facial patterns (15 normodivergent, 15hypodivergent and 15 hyperdivergent). Internal Nasal Valve dimensions (angle andarea) and palate depth were evaluated by cone beam computed tomography using Real Scan 2.0 software. The SN-GoMe angle and the ratio of posterior facial height to anterior facial height were used to determine the classification of the patterns.Results: Statistically significant differences were found between the vertical facialpatterns for palate depth and internal nasal valve (p<0.001). The hypodivergentpattern obtained the lowest values for palate depth (7.8mm) and the hyperdivergent the highest (19.8mm). Regarding nasal valve area, the normodivergent grouppresented the highest values (right 88.27mm2 and left 84.67mm2). The lowest values for valve angle were in the hyperdivergent group (right 11.11° and left11.81°).Conclusions: There were statistically significant differences between the vertical facial patterns with respect to palatal depth and internal nasal valve. There was no correlation between the study variables.	es_ES
