En la actualidad, con el avance tecnológico, se ha hecho posible recolectar doble dosis de plaquetas de un solo donante, obteniendo productos de alto rendimiento y calidad que cumplen con su propósito terapéutico en beneficio del paciente, manteniendo la seguridad del donante y reduciendo así la incidencia de reacciones adversas transfusionales en pacientes. Objetivo: Determinar los valores estimados del recuento de plaquetas y hematocrito post donación en donantes sometidos a procedimientos de doble producto plaquetario por aféresis, analizando su variación según edad y sexo en el banco de sangre del Instituto Nacional de Enfermedades Neoplásicas (INEN) durante el año 2023.Materiales y métodos: Estudio observacional, retrospectivo y descriptivo. Se evaluará el valor estimado de plaquetas y hematocrito post donación en donantes a los cuales se le colecta doble dosis de plaquetas. Plan de análisis: El análisis de datos se realizará con el programa estadístico SPSS vs. 25; aplicando modelos de correlación, estadísticas descriptivas y se presentaran tablas estadísticas simples. Para ver las diferencias entre sexo se trabajará con la prueba estadística Chi-cuadrado. Para ver las diferencias según edad se trabajará con la prueba estadística T-student. Para ver si los datos son adecuados o no, se trabajará con la prueba ajustada de Fisher. Se asumirá diferencia o asociación estadísticamente significativa si el valor p es menor a 0.05.Aspectos éticos: Los derechos de los participantes serán protegidos durante todo el proceso de la revisión de la base de datos, asegurando su confidencialidad y privacidad sin perjuicio a los pacientes, donantes o institución donde se realizará el estudio. Solo la investigadora manejará la información de la base de datos con fines académicos. The Fisher's exact test will be utilized to determine if the data is adequate or not. A statistically significant difference or association will be assumed if the p value is less than 0.05.Ethical aspects: The rights of the participants will be protected throughout the process of reviewing the database, ensuring their confidentiality and privacy without harming the patients, donors or institution where the study will be carried out. Only the researcher will handle the information in the database for academic purposes. In addition, the project will be reviewed by the ethics committee of the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia.
