dc.description.abstract	Introducción: El bajo peso al nacer y las alteraciones gastrointestinales son problemas frecuentes en neonatos prematuros. El masaje abdominal ha surgido como una posible intervención para mejorar la ganancia de peso. Objetivo: Este estudio cuasi-experimental tiene como objetivo determinar el efecto del masaje abdominal con la técnica 'I Love You' en la ganancia de peso de neonatos prematuros ingresados en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales (UCIN). Materiales y Métodos: Se incluirán 60 neonatos prematuros, asignados a un grupo experimental (masaje abdominal) y un grupo control (cuidado estándar). La ganancia de peso se medirá diariamente durante 5 días. Plan de Análisis: Los datos se analizarán mediante estadística descriptiva, incluyendo el cálculo de medias y desviaciones estándar para variables cuantitativas y frecuencias y porcentajes para variables categóricas. El análisis inferencial se realizará mediante pruebas como la prueba t de Student o la prueba U de Mann-Whitney para comparar la ganancia de peso entre los grupos. Se considerará el uso de ANOVA de medidas repetidas o regresión lineal para análisis adicionales. El nivel de significación estadística se establecerá en α = 0,05.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Introduction: Low birth weight and gastrointestinal disorders are common problems in premature neonates. Abdominal massage has emerged as a potential intervention to improve weight gain. Objective: This quasi-experimental study aims to determine the effect of abdominal massage using the 'I Love You' technique on weight gain in premature neonates admitted to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Materials and Methods: Sixty premature neonates will be included, assigned to an experimental group (abdominal massage) and a control group (standard care). Weight gain will be measured daily for 5 days. Analysis Plan: Data will be analyzed using descriptive statistics, including the calculation of means and standard deviations for quantitative variables and frequencies and percentages for categorical variables. Inferential analysis will be performed using tests such as the Student t-test or the Mann-Whitney U test to compare weight gain between groups. Repeated measures ANOVA or linear regression will be considered for further analysis. The level of statistical significance will be set at α = 0,05.	es_ES
