dc.description.abstract	En la actualidad, la tomografía computarizada es uno de los estudios de diagnóstico que nos permite evaluar la anatomía del cuerpo humano, usado más frecuentemente para valorar patologías y traumas. Objetivo: Evidenciar la importancia de la tomografía computarizada en la evaluación de fracturas cervicales C1 y C2 Tipo de estudio: Monografía Metodología: Se ha realizado una revisión y análisis bibliográfico en Seram, Google académico, PubMed, Elsevier sobre tomografía computarizada en la evaluación de fracturas cervicales C1 y C2. Resultados: De la revisión de los 20 artículos, demuestran con evidencias que la tomografía computarizada es de vital importancia en la evaluación de fracturas cervicales con una sensibilidad del 98% sobre otros métodos de estudios y el 60% de fracturas es mayoritaria en personas mayores de 60 años, la vértebra más afectada es el axis, seguido de las apófisis odontoidea y por último el atlas. Conclusión: Se evidencia que el estudio por excelencia para la detección de fracturas cervicales es la tomografía computarizada.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Currently, computed tomography is one of the diagnostic studies that allows us to evaluate the anatomy of the human body, most frequently used to assess pathologies and traumas. Objective: To demonstrate the importance of computed tomography in the evaluation of C1 and C2 cervical fractures. Type of study: Monograph Methodology: A bibliographic review and analysis has been carried out in Seram, Google scholar, PubMed, Elsevier on computed tomography in the evaluation of C1 and C2 cervical fractures. Results: From the review of the 20 articles, they demonstrate with evidence that computed tomography is of vital importance in the evaluation of cervical fractures with a sensitivity of 98% over other study methods and 60% of fractures are mostly in people over 60 years of age, the most affected vertebra is the axis, followed by the odontoid process and finally the atlas. Conclusion: It is evident that the gold standard for detecting cervical fractures is computed tomography.	es_ES
