The present study aims to determine the effect of an Educational Coaching Program on emotional intelligence in the Industrial Administration entrants of a Higher Technological Institution of Lima. The design of the present experimental work is pre-experimental type of pretest tests of a single group, It was applied to 16 students of the career of Industrial Administration selected through a convenience sampling; for which the ICE BarON Emotional Intelligence Inventory and the Educational Coaching Program that was developed based on what was proposed by Juan Bou (PCEB) was used. The results show that the program PCEB has had significant effects on the total Emotional Coefficient, as well as on the interpersonal components and the management of the general mood of emotional intelligence of a group of students entering a Higher Technological Institution.La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar el efecto de un Programa de Coaching educativo sobre la Inteligencia emocional en los ingresantes de Administración Industrial de una Institución Superior Tecnológica de Lima. El diseño utilizado fue experimental de tipo pre test- pos test de un solo grupo. Se trabajó con 16 estudiantes de la carrera de Administración Industrial que fueron seleccionados a través de un muestreo por conveniencia; a quienes se les aplicó el inventario de Inteligencia Emocional ICE BarON y el Programa de Coaching Educativo que se elaboró a partir de lo propuesto por Juan Bou (PCEB). Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que el programa PCEB tuvo efectos significativos en el Coeficiente Emocional, así como en los componentes interpersonales y manejo del estado de ánimo general de la inteligencia emocional en un grupo de ingresantes de una Institución Superior Tecnológica.
