El objetivo de la presente investigación fue determinar las consideraciones que tienen las docentes de Educación Inicial sobre el juego para incorporarlas en los talleres de aprendizaje de los niños y niñas de instituciones educativas públicas de Lima. Para ello, el estudio fue de tipo cuantitativo, de nivel descriptivo simple, de diseño no experimental y de corte transversal. La muestra del estudio fue de 40 docentes de nivel Inicial que laboran en instituciones públicas de la ciudad de Lima. Se aplicó un Cuestionario elaborado y validado, adaptado al de Castellar, González y Santana (2015). Para el análisis de los datos se empleó la estadística descriptiva. Se obtuvo en los resultados que las docentes de Educación Inicial de instituciones públicas de Lima, refieren varias consideraciones claves sobre el juego para incorporar en los talleres con los niños y niñas. El mayor porcentaje de ellas manifiestan que las características principales del juego son la motivación, participación y diversión. El tipo de juego simbólico y juego cooperativo son los que incorporan con mayor frecuencia. Los beneficios que más refieren del juego para incorporar en los talleres es porque consideran que es una estrategia motivadora, participativa e integradora para los niños y niñas.The objective of this research was to determine the considerations that Early Childhood Education teachers have about the game incorporate in the learning workshops of the boys and girls of public Educational Institutions of Lima. For this, the research was quantitative, simple descriptive level, non-experimental design and across-sectional. The sample of the study was 40 teacher of Initial level that work in Public Institutions of the city of Lima. A Questionnaire instrument adapted to that of Castellar, González y Santana (2015) and validated through expert judges and binomial test was applied. Descriptive statistics were used for data analysis. In the results, in a general and considerable way, it was obtained that the teachers of Initial Education of public institutions of Lima have several and important considerations about the game to incorporate in the workshops, of which they include and are described based on the three objectives specific in research on the characteristics, types and benefits of the game, and among other aspects that make up and complement them.
