La investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar de qué manera fueron empleadas las estrategias didácticas por las docentes de nivel inicial del ciclo II de instituciones educativas públicas del distrito de San Martín de Porres el año 2019. El estudio se desarrolló bajo un enfoque cuantitativo y fue de tipo básica aplicada. La recolección de información se realizó a través del uso de un cuestionario sobre las estrategias didácticas, el cual fue construido por la investigadora y abordó las dimensiones: planteamiento de la estrategia y recursos de la estrategia. La población de estudio estuvo conformada por docentes de educación inicial del ciclo II que laboran en el distrito de San Martin de Porres, y la muestra fue 30 docentes. Se concluyó que el 53% de las docentes mencionan tener un nivel óptimo de empleo de estrategias didácticas en sus actividades de aprendizaje, lo que podría repercutir en que el proceso pedagógico y los aprendizajes que promueven las docentes en los estudiantes de educación inicial se alcancen exitosamente. Así mismo, en cuanto al planteamiento de la estrategia el 70% de las docentes mencionan tener un nivel óptimo, y en cuanto al uso de los recursos de la estrategia 56% menciona tener un nivel óptimo.The objective of the research was to determine how the didactic strategies were used by the teachers of the initial level of cycle II of public educational institutions of the district of San Martín de Porres in 2019. The study was reduced under a quantitative approach and was of type applied basic. Information was collected through the use of a questionnaire on didactic strategies, which was constructed by the researcher and addressed the dimensions: strategy approach and strategy resources. The study population was made up of teachers of initial education of cycle II who work in the district of San Martín de Porres, and the sample was 30 teachers. It was concluded that 53% of the teachers mention having an optimal level of use of didactic strategies in their learning activities, which could have repercussions on the pedagogical process and the learning that teachers promote in initial education students are successfully achieved. Likewise, regarding the approach of the strategy, 70% of the teachers mention having an optimal level, and regarding the use of the resources of the strategy, 56% mention having an optimal level.
