La presente investigación tuvo como objetivo determinar la situación sobre el uso de los medios de comunicación y Tecnologías de la Información (TIC) en los docentes del nivel primaria de las instituciones educativas rurales y urbanas de la región Ucayali, según la encuesta ENDO 2018. Su enfoque metodológico fue cuantitativo y diseño descriptivo simple con una variable compleja. En cuanto a los instrumentos se utilizó la Encuesta Nacional a Docentes (ENDO) 2018. Entre los resultados más resaltantes se encontró que un poco más de la mitad de los docentes no hacen uso de la radio, los medios impresos y periódico digital. Así también, el correo electrónico es el servicio más utilizado por los docentes, pero muy poco usado para recibir información sobre su actividad docente. Asimismo, se halló que muchos de estos profesionales prefieren recibir la información del Ministerio de Educación (Minedu) a través de mensajes de textos. Se concluye que los medios de comunicación más utilizados son la TV, el correo electrónico, el Facebook y el WhatsApp. Así también, los medios para informarse sobre su actividad docente están vinculados a los servicios que ofrece el Minedu, además, la gran mayoría de los docentes tienen una opinión positiva sobre los efectos de las TIC en el trabajo en el aula.The objective of this research was to determine the situation regarding the use of communication media and Information Technology (ICT) in primary level teachers of rural and urban educational institutions in the Ucayali region, according to the ENDO 2018 survey. methodological approach was quantitative and simple descriptive design with a complex variable. Regarding the instruments, the National Survey of Teachers (ENDO) 2018 was used. Among the most outstanding results, it was found that a little more than half of the teachers do not use the radio, the printed media and the digital newspaper. Also, e-mail is the service most used by teachers, but very little used to receive information about their teaching activity. Likewise, it was found that many of these professionals prefer to receive information from the Ministry of Education (Minedu) through text messages. It is concluded that the most used means of communication are TV, email, Facebook and WhatsApp. Likewise, the means to find out about their teaching activity are linked to the services offered by the Minedu, in addition, the vast majority of teachers have a positive opinion about the effects of ICT on work in the classroom.
