El objetivo del trabajo de investigación es identificar los factores socio económicos y familiares de mujeres codependientes de un familiar con consumo de alcohol, que acudieron al Hospital Regional de Moquegua, durante los años 2014 – 2018, a partir de fuentes documentales, la historia clínica, evaluaciones sociales y visitas domiciliarias. Se utilizó un diseño analítico descriptivo simple con el objetivo de detallar los factores personales, familiares y sociales que presentan las mujeres codependientes de un familiar que consume alcohol y que fueron atendidos en el Hospital Regional de Moquegua durante los años 2014 al 2018. Se realizó el análisis de los datos encontrados en las historias clínicas de 07 pacientes con consumo de alcohol, encontrando que las condiciones de vida de los pacientes y familia son precarias, no permitiendo que el hogar sea un espacio propicio para el desarrollo de sus miembros. Se identifica problemas de violencia familiar, abuso sexual, embarazo no deseado, trabajos eventuales, consumo de alcohol a temprana edad, padres separados, etc.; en estas circunstancias la mujer de la casa se siente responsable del problema de alcoholismo de algún miembro de su familia, convirtiéndose en el eje y soporte fundamental en resolución de problemas y satisfacción de necesidades básicas, obligada a la doble y triple jornada de trabajo buscando el soporte económico para satisfacer las necesidades primarias, atentando contra el cuidado y protección de los hijos menores, siendo factor determinante para el inicio temprano de consumo de alcohol.The objective of the research work is to identify the socio-economic and family factors of women codependent on a family member with alcohol consumption, who came to the Regional Hospital of Moquegua, during the years 2014 – 2018, from documentary sources such as medical history, social evaluations and home visits. A simple descriptive analytical design was used with the aim of detailing the personal, family and social factors presented by women who are codependent on a family member who consumes alcohol and who were treated at the Regional Hospital of Moquegua during the years 2014 to 2018. The analysis of the data found in the medical records of 07 patients with alcohol consumption was carried out, finding that the living conditions of these patients and their families are precarious, not allowing the home to be a space conducive to the development of its members. Problems of family violence, sexual abuse, unwanted pregnancy, casual work, alcohol consumption at an early age, separated parents, etc. are identified; in these circumstances the woman of the house feels responsible for the problem of alcoholism of a member of her family, becoming the axis and fundamental support in solving problems and satisfaction of basic needs, forced to double and triple working hours seeking economic support to meet primary needs, attacking the care and protection of minor children , being a determining factor for the early onset of alcohol consumption.
