En vista de la expansión económica, muchas industrias farmacéuticas nacionales han optado por expandirse a mercados extranjeros. Es por ello que su sistema de gestión de calidad debe ser consistente para convertirse en una organización competitiva según los estándares internacionales. El sistema CAPA es un conjunto de acciones que las regulaciones internacionales exigen a las industrias farmacéuticas, con la finalidad de realizar mejoras en el producto, proceso o sistemas de calidad. En este caso, los laboratorios farmacéuticos nacionales se rigen a la normativa de DIGEMID y las Buenas Prácticas de Manufactura (BMP), las cuales exigen un sistema CAPA a nivel de plan de acción, sin embargo según los lineamientos ICH Q10 los cuales se toman como referencia para un sistema de calidad con estándares internacionales, exige elevar el nivel del sistema CAPA y gestionarse como un todo, es decir independientemente de las herramientas del Aseguramiento de la calidad de donde provengan las acciones, se debe realizar un monitoreo continuo, incluso hay industrias que cuentan con un área especializada solo en sistema CAPA, ya que su importancia radica en identificar las causas raíces de los problemas que afectan al ciclo de vida del producto y ejecutar la investigación con acciones precisas que eliminen el problema de raíz, de esta forma se evitara las pérdidas de tiempo y dinero. Tomando en cuenta los recursos actuales del laboratorio, se diseñaron estrategias con la finalidad de cumplir los estándares internacionales, es por ello que el presente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal analizar la implementación de estas estrategias de mejora continua y evaluar su impacto a través del número de CAPAs. De esta manera se logrará la elevar el nivel del sistema CAPA de acuerdo con lo establecido en los lineamientos BPM, ISO 9001 y del ente regulador que corresponda.In view of the economic expansion, many domestic pharmaceutical industries have chosen to expand into foreign markets. That is why its quality management system must be consistent to become a competitive organization according to international standards. The CAPA system is a set of actions that international regulations require from pharmaceutical industries, in order to make improvements in the product, process or quality systems. In this case, the national pharmaceutical laboratories are governed by the DIGEMID regulations and the Good Manufacturing Practices (BMP), which require a CAPA system at the action plan level, however, according to the ICH Q10 guidelines, which are taken as reference for a quality system with international standards, requires raising the level of the CAPA system and managing it as a whole, that is, regardless of the Quality Assurance tools where the actions come from, continuous monitoring must be carried out, there are even industries that have a specialized area only in the CAPA system, since its importance lies in identifying the causes of the problems that advance to the product life cycle and carry out the investigation with precise actions that eliminate the root problem, thus avoiding waste of time and money. Taking into account the current resources of the laboratory, strategies are designed in order to meet international standards, which is why the main objective of this paper is to analyze the implementation of these continuous improvement strategies and evaluate their impact through the number of LAYER. In this way, the level of the CAPA system will be raised in accordance with the provisions of the BPM, ISO 9001 guidelines and the corresponding regulatory entity.
