El síndrome de Burnout es el resultado del constante estrés generado por las condiciones laborales. Es el personal de enfermería quien esta en constante exposiciones a estas situaciones, por lo que es necesario que utilicen estrategias para poder afrontar las fuentes de estrés que terminan agotando al enfermero y disminuyendo su capacidad para brindar un buen servicio. Objetivo: Determinar la relación del Síndrome de Burnout y las estrategias de afrontamiento en el personal de enfermería en la unidad de cuidados intensivos COVID en el Hospital Guillermo Almenara Irigoyen durante el año 2022. Material y métodos: El estudio cuantitativo de diseño no experimental del tipo correlacional-descriptivo. La población será de 49 enfermeros de las UCI-COVID. Se emplearán cuestionarios para recolectar los datos, para estudiar la variable Síndrome de Burnout (el Maslach Burnout Inventory) y para las Estrategias de Afrontamiento (COPE-28), ambos con validez internacional. Para el procesamiento de datos se utilizará las herramientas estadísticas propias del EXCEL. Criterios de Inclusión: Enfermeros que acepten participar y firmen el consentimiento informado, Enfermeros en UCI-COVID sin importar el sexo, Enfermeros con al menos dos años de experiencia en el área. Criterios de Exclusión: Enfermeros que estén desarrollando pasantías en UCI.Burnout syndrome is the result of constant stress generated by working conditions. Materials and methods: A quantitative non-experimental correlational-descriptive design will be employed. The population will consist of 49 nurses from the COVID ICU. Questionnaires will be used to collect data, studying the Burnout Syndrome variable (using the Maslach Burnout Inventory) and Coping Strategies (COPE-28), both with international validity. Excel statistical tools will be used for data processing. Inclusion criteria: Nurses who agree to participate and sign informed consent, Nurses in the COVID ICU regardless of gender, Nurses with at least two years of experience in the field. Exclusion criteria: Nurses undergoing internships in the ICU.
