En diversas regiones del planeta, son los enfermeros quienes ocupan el frente de batalla en entornos quirúrgicos, desempeñando un papel fundamental en el cuidado integral de los pacientes, el cual está centrado en satisfacer las necesidades holísticas de sus pacientes quirúrgicos, antiguamente en la mayoría de países sudamericanos ,este cuidado tenía un enfoque meramente biomédico, o sea brindaban mayor énfasis a las necesidades biológicas, este tipo de paradigma contribuyó a la deshumanización del cuidado de enfermería. En la actualidad, el enfoque del cuidado en el ámbito quirúrgico es bastante humanizado, reconociendo al paciente como un ser completo con necesidades biológicas, psicológicas, sociales y espirituales en ese contexto las intervenciones realizadas por enfermeros deben ser efectuadas siempre respetando la integridad de la persona como un todo, con respeto a su humanidad y velar por la dignidad de la vida. Objetivo: Evaluar las evidencias bibliográficas sobre el cuidado humanizado brindado por el personal de enfermería en la atención del paciente quirúrgico. Metodología: Revisión bibliográfica, análisis crítico de los artículos que cumplen con los criterios impuestos. Conclusiones: La mayoría de los usuarios quirúrgicos perciben y esperan recibir una atención donde prime el cuidado humanizado por parte del enfermero.In various regions of the planet, it is nurses who occupy the front lines in surgical environments, playing a fundamental role in comprehensive patient care, which is focused on meeting the holistic needs of their surgical patients, formerly in the majority of cases. Currently, the approach to care in the surgical field is quite humanized, recognizing the patient as a complete being with biological, psychological, social and spiritual needs. In this context, the interventions carried out by nurses must always be carried out respecting the integrity of the person. as a whole, with respect for their humanity and ensuring the dignity of life. Objective: To evaluate the bibliographic evidence on the humanized care provided by nursing staff in the care of surgical patients. Methodology: Bibliographic review, critical analysis of articles that meet the imposed criteria. Conclusions: The majority of surgical users perceive and expect to receive care where humanized care from the nurse prevails.
