El incremento de las cirugías en estos últimos años conlleva a una serie de sucesos que ponen en peligro la seguridad e incluso la vida del paciente, sucesos que son conocidos e incluso pueden ser prevenibles. La Lista de Verificación de Cirugía Segura (LVCS) propuesta por la OMS en año 2008 permite al equipo quirúrgico minimizar los eventos adversos y las situaciones de riesgo con el fin de garantizar la seguridad y el bienestar del paciente durante el proceso perioperatorio. En Perú el MINSA propone a la enfermera como coordinadora y es, según la OMS, quien comanda, dirige y hace cumplir la LVCS. Considerando que existen factores que limitan su cumplimiento es importante que la enfermera la identifique para garantizar su correcta ejecución. Objetivo: Describir los factores que influyen en el cumplimiento de la lista de cirugía segura por las enfermeras en centro quirúrgico. Metodología: revisión bibliográfica, descriptiva, retrospectiva y documental en el que se analizaron diversas fuentes originales de información. Resultados: en base a los objetivos planteados se analizaron 20 artículos que aportaron información trascendente para el análisis, la búsqueda incluyó estudios desde el 2019 hasta el 2023, se revisaron bases de datos como: BVSalud (25%), Google Académico (20%), Scielo (10%), Dialnet (10%), entre otros. El país de donde se obtuvo más información fue Brasil (30%). Conclusión: El cumplimiento de Lista de verificación de Cirugía en todas sus fases: entrada, pausa y salida de forma correcta y completa minimiza la ocurrencia de los eventos adversos y garantiza la seguridad del paciente.The increase in surgeries in recent years leads to a series of events that endanger the safety and even the life of the patient, events that are known and may even be preventable. The Safe Surgery Checklist (LVCS) proposed by the WHO in 2008 allows the surgical team to minimize adverse events and risk situations in order to guarantee the safety and well-being of the patient during the perioperative process. In Peru, the MINSA proposes the nurse as coordinator and it is, according to the WHO, who commands, directs and enforces the LVCS. Considering that there are factors that limit its compliance, it is important for the nurse to identify it to guarantee its correct execution. Objective: Describe the factors that influence compliance with the safe surgery list by nurses in a surgical center. Methodology: bibliographic, descriptive, retrospective and documentary review in which various original sources of information were analyzed. Results: based on the stated objectives, 20 articles that provided significant information for the analysis were analyzed. The search included studies from 2019 to 2023. Databases such as: BVSalud (25%), Google Scholar (20%), Scielo (10%), Dialnet (10%), among others. The country from which the most information was obtained was Brazil (30%). Conclusion: Compliance with the Surgery Checklist in all its phases: entry, pause and exit correctly and completely minimizes the occurrence of adverse events and guarantees patient safety.
