Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre el nivel de conocimientos y prácticas de enfermería en la manipulación del prematuro en la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos neonatales en un Hospital Público. Lima 2024. Materiales y Métodos: El diseño será cuantitativo, observacional, correlacional de corte transversal. Población muestral , comprendida por 22 profesionales de enfermería. Criterios de inclusión: Enfermeras que laboren en la unidad de cuidados intensivos neonatales (UCIN),con más de 6 meses de experiencia laboral y acepten participar de la investigación. Técnica: Para la primera variable, se empleará la técnica de la encuesta, mientras que para la segunda variable se utilizará la observación. Instrumento: Un cuestionario para medir el nivel de conocimiento y una lista de cotejo para medir las prácticas de cuidado, ambos instrumentos validados por Quispe, A (2018) con una confiabilidad determinada a través del coeficiente de alfa de Cronbach y la prueba KR20, cuyos valores fueron 0.813 y 0.762 respectivamente.Objective: To determine the relationship between the level of knowledge and nursing practices in the handling of premature infants in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit of a Public Hospital in Lima, 2024.Materials and Methods: The design will be quantitative, observational, correlational, and cross-sectional. The sample population will consist of 22 nursing professionals. Inclusion criteria: Nurses working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) with more than 6 months of work experience who agree to participate in the research.Technique: For the first variable, the survey technique will be employed, while for the second variable, observation will be used.Instrument: A questionnaire to measure the level of knowledge and a checklist to measure care practices, both instruments validated by Quispe, A. (2018), with reliability determined through the Cronbach's alpha coefficient and the KR20 test, with values of 0.813 and 0.762, respectively.
