Antecedentes: El surgimiento de nuevos materiales ha demostrado mejores resultados en lo concerniente a la supervivencia clínica de las restauraciones sobre implantes, optimizando sus propiedades y relacionándolas al éxito en variables como adaptación marginal y selección del agente cementante. Objetivos: Evaluar la adaptación marginal de cofias metalocerámicas de aleaciones de Co-Cr en SLM antes y después de cementadas, utilizando cementos provisionales, sobre análogos de pilares protésicos. Materiales y métodos: Estudio experimental, cuantitativo y transversal in vitro. Los grupos experimentales (N=12) estuvieron compuestos por cofias que fueron cementadas utilizando los cementos: Fuji TEMP LT (GC) y Provicol (Voco). La unidad de análisis fue la adaptación marginal vertical, horizontal y la discrepancia marginal absoluta. Los procedimientos se realizaron de forma estandarizada después de la calibración y de acuerdo a las recomendaciones de los fabricantes. Resultados: Las menores discrepancias marginales, después del grupo control, se observaron con el agente provisional Provicol, obteniendo resultados promedio para la adaptación marginal vertical, horizontal y discrepancia marginal absoluta de 59.12μm ± 26.37μm, 556.5μm ± 37.14μm y 569.22μm ± 56.47μm respectivamente, en comparación al grupo de cofias cementadas con Fuji Temp LT que mostraron resultados numéricamente superiores en todas las variables, pero no se observó diferencia estadísticamente significativa al comparar los grupos evaluados (p<0.05). El análisis estadístico multivariado se realizó mediante la prueba Anova. Conclusiones: Las cofias antes la cementación obtuvieron mejores resultados promedio en adaptación marginal vertical, horizontal y discrepancia marginal absoluta, seguido de los grupos experimentales cementados con Provicol y Fuji temp LT.Background: The emergence of new materials has shown better results regarding clinical survival of implant restorations, optimizing their properties and relating them to success in variables such as marginal adaptation and cementing agent selection. Objectives: To evaluate the marginal adaptation of Co-Cr alloy metal-ceramic copings in SLM before and after cementation, using provisional cements, on prosthetic abutment analogs. Materials and methods: Experimental, quantitative and cross-sectional in vitro study. The experimental groups (N=12) were composed of copings that were cemented using the following cements: Fuji TEMP LT (GC) and Provicol (Voco). The analysis unit was the vertical and horizontal marginal adaptation and the absolute marginal discrepancy. The procedures were performed in a standardized manner after calibration and according to the manufacturers' recommendations. Results: The lowest marginal discrepancies after the control group were observed with the provisional agent Provicol, obtaining average results for vertical and horizontal marginal adaptation and absolute marginal discrepancy of 59.12μm ± 26.37μm, 556.5μm ± 37.14μm and 569.22μm ± 56.47μm respectively, compared to the group of copings cemented with Fuji Temp LT that showed numerically superior results in all variables, but no statistically significant difference was observed when comparing the evaluated groups (p < 0.05). The multivariate statistical analysis was performed using the Anova test. Conclusions: The copings before cementation obtained better average results in vertical and horizontal marginal adaptation and absolute marginal discrepancy, followed by the experimental groups cemented with Provicol and Fuji temp LT.
