Objetivo: Evaluar la capacidad de absorción y desprendimiento de fibras de celulosa de puntas de papel de 4 diferentes marcas, con diferente conicidad y calibreD0 025. Materiales y métodos: Investigación tipo experimental In Vitro. La muestra fue de 50 especímenes por grupo, se utilizó puntas de papel de 3 fabricantes: Dentspl y Maillefer (WOG Wave One Gold Primary 25.07, PU Protaper Universal F2 25.08), Coltene Whaledent (HGT Hygenic Grater Taper 25.06) VDW (ZIP Zipperer 25.02). Dentro de una balanza analítica (OHAUS) se colocó una punta de papel y se determinó el peso inicial (PI), sumergimos los 3 últimos mm por 10 segundos en un tubo Ependorf con 1 ml3 de NaOCl, se vuelve a pesar (PF) para obtener el (%) de aumento de masa. Cada tubo Ependorf fue centrifugado a una velocidad de 7200 rpm por 2 min, resultando un precipitado, se agregaron dos gotas de glicerina y se llevó el contenido al microscopio de luz polarizada para observar el desprendimiento de fibras de celulosa en 5X. Resultados: La capacidad de absorción tuvo diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre todos los grupos siendo PU quien logró un mayor porcentaje del incremento de masa 64.17%,contrariamente WOG logro 20.35%. Todas las marcas arrojaron fibras de celulosa,hallándose que ZIP fue quien arrojo mayor cantidad 8.94, y PU menor 3.98. Conclusión: existe diferencia significativa en la capacidad de absorción entre todas las marcas siendo PU quien obtuvo mejores resultados. Todas las marcas desprendieron fibras de celulosa.Objective: To evaluate the absorption and detachment capacity of cellulose fibersf rom paper tips of 4 different brands, with different taper and D0 025 caliber. Materials and methods: In Vitro experimental type of research. The sample was 50 specimens per group, paper tips from 3 manufacturers were used: dents plymaillefer (WOG wave one gold primary 25.07, PU protaper universal F2 25.08), Coltene Whaledent (HGT hygenic Grater taper 25.06) VDW (ZIP zipperer 25.02 ). A paper tip was placed inside an analytical balance (OHAUS) and the initial weight (PI) was calculated. We immersed the last 3 mm for 10 seconds in an Ependorf tube with 1 ml 3 of NaOCl. Weighed again (PF) to obtain the (%) mass increase. Each Ependorf tube was centrifuged at a speed of 7200 rpm for 2 min, resulting in a precipitate. Two drops of glycerin were added and the content was taken to apolarized light microscope to observe the detachment of cellulose fibers at 5X. Results: The absorption capacity had a statistically significant difference between all groups, with PU achieving a greater percentage of mass increase, 64.17%, while WOG achieved 20.35%. All brands produced cellulose fibers, with ZIP being the one that produced the highest amount, 8.94, and PU, the lowest, 3.98. Conclusion: there is a significant difference in the absorption capacity between all brands, with PU having the best results. All brands released cellulose fibers.
