Antecedentes: Los padres de neonatos hospitalizados en el servicio de la Unidad de Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales que experimentan una serie de situaciones estresores requieren de estrategias de afrontamiento que controlen esos niveles de estrés. Conocer la relación de las mismas permitirá al profesional de enfermería a ejercer de la mejor manera sus labores con el paciente y sus padres, a fin beneficiar la recuperación de los neonatos hospitalizados en el Servicio de la UCIN. Objetivo: Determinar la relación entre las estrategias de afrontamiento y el nivel de estrés en padres con recién nacidos hospitalizados en la Unidad Cuidados Intensivos Neonatales en un hospital nacional 2025. Materiales y Métodos: cuantitativo, descriptivo, correlacional, observacional y transversal. La técnica: encuesta mediante un cuestionario como instrumento; la cual contiene 78 preguntas acorde a los variables que fueron planteados. los instrumentos deberán ser validados por 10 expertos ya que se adaptaron las preguntas a la población abarcada. Plan de Análisis: Se hará una revisión de los datos para garantizar el control de calidad, luego, la información obtenida se codificará, para posteriormente se tabulen en el programa MS Excel y SPSS V. 28.0; asimismo, se almacenarán en una tabla de matriz de la base de datos; finalmente, se presentarán los datos de forma descriptiva en tablas y gráficos estadísticos. Las consideraciones éticas: Principios de Autonomía, Beneficencia, No Maleficencia y Justicia.Background: Parents of newborns hospitalized in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit service who experience a series of stressful situations require coping strategies that control these stress levels. The technique: survey using a questionnaire as an instrument; which contains 78 questions according to the variables that were raised. The instruments must be validated by 10 experts since the questions were adapted to the population covered. Analysis Plan: A review of the data will be carried out to guarantee quality control, then the information obtained will be coded and subsequently tabulated in the MS Excel and SPSS V. 28.0 program; Likewise, they will be stored in a matrix table in the database; Finally, the data will be presented descriptively in statistical tables and graphs.
