Introducción: La población pediátrica con síndrome de Down, se caracteriza por presentar disfunciones motoras como la disminución muscular, falta de equilibrio, coordinación y control postural. Las diferentes intervenciones fisioterapéuticas han logrado mejorar las funciones motoras en su desarrollo motor a futuro. Objetivo: Esta investigación tiene como objetivo describir las diferentes intervenciones fisioterapéuticas que han sido efectivas en el desarrollo motor en población pediátrica con síndrome de Down. Metodología: Esta revisión narrativa utilizó artículos en inglés y español publicados del 2010 al 2025. Los documentos fueron extraídos de PubMed y Google Académico. Primero se seleccionaron artículos en base a título y resumen. Luego solo los que tenían texto completo. Finalmente se aplicaron los criterios de elegibilidad. Descripción de Hallazgos: Se identificaron 2.251 documentos científicos diferentes, de los cuales se usaron 18 artículos, donde se evidencia las Intervenciones Fisioterapéuticas. Conclusiones: Según estudios científicos los diferentes tipos de intervenciones , basadas en evidencia científica encontramos Métodos , Técnicas , Programas , Recursos , que han tenido resultados favorables en el desarrollo motor en la Población Pediátrica con SD .Como el método Bobath , el método de Vojta ,el método de Pilates ,el masaje Fisioterapéutico , los ejercicios de Cinta de Correr, los ejercicios en Trampolín, la técnica de Bad Ragaz , la técnica Halliwick , el método Pilates Acuático , el programa de entrenamiento Isocinética y realidad virtual.
Introduction: The pediatric population with Down syndrome, is characterized by presenting motor dysfunctions such as muscular decrease, lack of balance, coordination and postural control. The different physiotherapeutic interventions have been able to improve motor functions in their future motor development. Objective: In this sense, the objective of this research is to describe the different physiotherapeutic interventions that have been effective in motor development in pediatric population with Down syndrome Methodology: This narrative review used articles in English and Spanish published from 2010 to 2025. Papers were extracted from PubMed and Google Scholar. First, articles were selected based on title and abstract. Then only those with full text were selected. Finally, the eligibility criteria were applied. Description of Findings: 2,251 different scientific documents were identified, of which 18 articles were used, where Physiotherapeutic Interventions are evidenced. Conclusions: According to scientific studies the different types of interventions , based on scientific evidence we found Methods , Techniques , Programs , Resources , which have had favorable results in motor development in the Pediatric Population with DS . Such as the Bobath method, the Vojta method, the Pilates method, Physiotherapeutic massage, Treadmill exercises, Trampoline exercises, the Bad Ragaz technique, the Halliwick technique, the Aquatic Pilates method, the Isokinetic training program and virtual reality.
